Paramount Chinese in Torridge

ACCEPTED THEN CANCELLED JUST EAT ORDER- Looked for a Chinese to deliver for a hassle free last night of holiday, first port of call - Just Eat. Placed order got accepted but then cancelled as apparently they suddenly had no driver to deliver 2 miles down the road?!?! Tried Mr Ho (not on just eat) and he could deliver within the hour

Going back a few years Paramount slipped, the food was average and the delivery time was also average, when more Chinese restaurants opened in town I stopped going there.My Mrs was on Just Eat and hadn't tried paramount before, I didn't say anything to her in the hopes it had improved and yes, it had massively improved.Great food, quick delivery times and not badly priced.If it wasn't for Just Eat I may not have gone back so hopefully the continue to use it and improve it.

My wife called to order, and asked what they could do to accommodate me, a coeliac. She was told rudely that they were too busy & didn't have time to check with the cook, who spoke terrible English. I've been going to & ordering from Paramount for years, not anymore. Yumees around the corner were professional, and actually had a gluten free menu. So I'll be going there from now on.

I ordered takeaway this evening for my husband and children who hadn't tried Chinese food. It was very fast delivery and reasonably priced. The food was excellent and my children really enjoyed trying all the different dishes we ordered. Thank you so much we will certainly be ordering again.

I've been eating from here for over 20 years.It's always looked a bit dated, but the food is great! The staff are friendly and efficient.Its been many years since, but I once went in the kitchen and it was SPOTLESS, which is another reason I keep coming back.

Sadly our regular Chinese restaurant has closed so tried this one and wasn't let down. The food was delicious and it wasn't too busy so the wait was minimal. Plenty of choices on the menu. The salt and spiced chicken was yummy, not tried it before. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of food per dish for seconds!

Some friends came down from London and we went for a meal here on Saturday 18th August. We were going to be happy with a standard meal but we got a very impressive meal with very very good service. Haven't been anywhere for a chinese meal for ages but we will be going back there as soon as possible. Thanks very much.

Was away with work and looking for an Indian restaurant. ..... found one but wasn't impressed with what we saw . Continued to wander and found this chinese restaurant . Not overly impressed by the decor but thought we'd give it ago . Impressive food and great service from the gorgeous Sophie.

First time ordering earlier, delivery was incredibly fast and the food was top quality. I have to say, possibly the best I've had in a while. Definitely recommended.

Always friendly and casual, so you don't feel out of place! Also they always do good quality food. Highly recommend!!
