The cider presse is a brilliant pub. Nigel, Catherine and the staff are fantastic, the good is great and there is an amazing choice of local beers and drinks. A gem in Devon

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The beer is good, the cider is great, the food is fantastic and the staff are just the best. Honestly, everything else could be rubbish and the staff would make this place worth a visit but everything else is great too. If you are ever within a 90 minute drive of this place it should be top of your list to visit.

What a fantastic little gem! After a very long day we checked in just round the corner and phoned up for a last minute table (Friday night). Fantastic, bubbly staff and amazing food. Highly recommend the steak and ale pie. You won't be disappointed! A proper 'local' pub with lovely homemade food.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Very friendly staff who were great with our large family with small children. Well worth a visit, especially if you like your cider. If you have time to visit and support small local independent businesses like this then do it!

Superb pub, loads of ciders, good lagers and ales too, great menu and food. We stayed for 2 nights in a beautifully decorated room above the inn. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the locals are really friendly and Nigel the owner is the perfect host.
