The Globe Inn in Torridge

Had a very good experience at the globe inn, food was very good (although I wish there was fish and chips on the menu) and their help for people with allergies was good too, staff were incredibly friendly and even went to the length of teaching js how to play bar billiards! The overall atmosphere in the pub was nice and the beer garden was also very nice. I highly recommend this pub.

We visited this pub whilst staying in the area on a birthday break away. I rarely write reviews but thought this was a must. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and provided an amazing service. Delicious food that had no faults. Cannot recommend enough! They even gave us some complimentary dessert as a birthday treat. Thank you for looking after us! ❤️

Such a friendly and warm atmosphere, and the waitress looked after me when I felt faint. Good value grub, excellent selection of beers and great vegan options to top it all off!

One of the bests pubs I have been to in a long time. Really friendly staff. Food was also great, and a large selection of beers. Jim behind the bar was very knowledgeable, and made us tourists feel like locals. Would be back in a flash.

Great pub and great selection of craft beers! The owner was super friendly and helped give us recommendations on what beers to try. He also saw that we were playing a board game and got us to try out some new ones he had at the back. Will def be back

This is an excellent country pub that never dissapoints. An extensive beer selection and always a friendly welcome from the genial landlord and lady. Looking forward to my next visit.

Believe the reviews - an absolute gem!Lovely friendly, accommodating people. Never been before and were only staying in the area. We managed ta late table on a Saturday night. Food was spot on and the ale selection was superb. Landlord very happy to chat about the pub and the beer which was great. Good prices too. If you're local I hope you realise how lucky you are.

Wonderfully friendly welcome from Sam and her staff. This place is an absolute Mecca for craft beer - the range on cask, keg and in the fridges is unrivalled in North Devon. Food offerings are fantastic, great tunes playing on the turntable, great people, great beer. All in all an absolute winner.
