The Italian Kitchen in Torridge

The Italian kitchen has been the go-to place for authentic Italian food since it opened around 8 yrs ago. I remember being served real Italian ice cream with a limoncello on our first visit which has proved to be a memorable experience! The service is perfect and the open kitchen allows the delicious smells of the freshly made pizza to waft across the restaurant - delicious! A great place to go for a social, a celebration, an intimate meal or a catchup after work. I cant fault it! Highly recommend!

Been here plenty of times, and still come back for that god level pizza. I would rate this a ten stars, if I could. The staff is very polite, and the Italian chef is always there to have a chat. He is a pizza master and will always make sure it’s to your satisfaction. It has air conditioning and heating. The atmosphere and decor made in an old, cosy style with gentle music. Better pizza than in Italy. Prices so worth it, impossible to regret.

What a wonderful restaurant for an authentic pizza. The staff were most accommodating, friendly and always there should you need them. A busy restaurant, although it is a Saturday, but you can see how popular the Italian Kitchen is. Fresh ingredients to a quality meal, completing a lovely experience. Very nice restaurant with fantastic service and food to match! Nothing was too much even for a large group like ours. Lasagne was cooked perfectly, creamy and very well filled. Nutella pizza.... Amazing!

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful.Nice coffee.Relaxed atmosphere well worth a visit.Reasonable price.The only two downsides to the place, was it needs a little decorating.And the pizza base was very thin, and a little soggy.Otherwise really good.

Unfortunately the Pizza I had was lacking toppings and cheese. It was also so soggy on the base you were unable to pick it up. The tomato sauce on the base was bland and lacked flavour, just a bit of garlic would have made a dull pizza half tasty.

Very nice independent restaurant, with lovely ambiance. Credit to the Chef and waiting on staff. No problems with food allergies.
