Perfect little hidden gem, great staff, wondeful food. Would definitely visit again

We booked for Sunday lunch, we had been before covid restrictions the standard then was excellent and still is. We had a very nice meal. Served Piping hot , good selection of seasonal veg and good selection of roast meats. Sticky toffee pudding yummy ! Very welcoming Hosts Kit and Monique .

Enjoyed a lovely meal. Food was excellent and service friendly. If I may make a couple of suggestions: the provision of a jug of water and whilst not detracting from the Chef's excellent seasoning, condiments by way of pepper grinder would not go amiss. Diane

I almost want to keep this place a secret! It has great atmosphere only surpassed by the wonderful attentive staff! We enjoyed the tender, flavourful Moroccan lamb and the delicious sundried tomato arancini. Ending it with warming sticky toffee pudding was perfect. We definitely plan to become regulars, you won't be disappointed if you do the same!

What a little gem this place is. Five of us had a most excellent dinner with very good wine and beers, and our host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. As an added bonus Tiggy, the village cat, joined us for dessert. We had a lovely evening in comfortable surroundings, the best meal of our holiday. We are disappointed that we don’t live locally, Pyworthy inhabitants are very lucky indeed.

A proper grown-up pub restaurant. Excellent food, good beer and lovely ambiance. We are very lucky to have such a great place in the vicinity. Simply superb.

Six of us came for dinner and drinks while on holiday nearby. The pub is gorgeous, the food is delicious and the resident cat is adorable- what more can you ask for? Hopefully we can return soon!

Ate here on Weds 16th Sep 2020 after a long trip and day in Cornwall. The website and pictures do not do the place justice (we told staff this too). Food excellent - fillet steak cooked to perfection and pie was packed full of steak chunks. Chips beautiful. Staff, friendly and attentive and dining area beautiful. Produce fresh and grown locally on farm owned by staff members. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent hospitality from the owners who made us feel very welcome. The menu had a good range and we all enjoyed the delicious food. Definitely one to visit
