We enjoyed a fabulous carvery. Everything was so flavoursome, carefully prepared and presented. Friendly staff, and a variety of entertainment spaces for children indoors and outdoors. The picnic tables near the children's outdoor play have QR codes on each table for easy food ordering to the table.The indoor tables cater for 2-6 people, so helpful for families.

Energy bills are on the rise and this place charges £9.00 for a pork baguette & £11 for some basic nachos that was ‘edible’. Of all the places we’ve been as a family this place really stood out but for all the wrong reasons. The food was cheap (yet very expensive), bland & just overall awful. The ‘side salad’ was a pile of brown lettuce….the Nachos were burnt…The owners should be ashamed of themselves in times like these serving microwaved rubbish for such high prices. Don’t waste your time here! Better off it’s closed down.

Foods okay, Carvery is excellent. Great bar. Plenty of seating, live music isn't a stranger to this venue on the weekends. Child and dog friendly, open all year round.

Sat in the garden lots of times and today sat inside. Food is always good. Today's nachos were amazing. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Love the app to order from your table.

There was 12 of us that went in Sunday carvery , staff were just amazing , The chef was brilliant , took the time from his busy carving to talk to us all , scrumptious 😋 food and plenty of it ( meat ) veg and roast potatoes you helped yourself , gravey was also very nice indeed , we all decided to go and have breakfast on the Monday morning before we all set off in our different directions to go home , once again nothing was any trouble at all , the breakfast was non fatty or greasy , " which ever you prefer " everything was done to a very hight standered all 15 plates were cleared ( yes there was 15 of us for breakfast not 12 ) staff once again were superb and very helpful , very neat , clean and tidy , highly recommend, we will all be going back next year 😀 👍

Wonderful staff, excellent service (Sîan) and absolutely terrific food. We ordered FAR too much as we thought we would ge the usual small pot of chips or a little portion of nachos. Each portion was large and each mouthful was divine! We absolutely loved it here, our dog was able to join us, and she had so much fuss and love from Sîan (and also some water). Thank you very much for having us.

We visited twice on two different nights and had different meals, all good. Not the cheapest but cooked well, served quickly and most importantly served hot. We'll be back, take that as a recommendation!!

It was an oasis after our walk. Hot drinks, piping hot and very plentiful food and friendly and efficient staff. I had cod goujons in baguette with salad and chips, I couldn't finish mine. It was tasty but I could have easily shared it. Will definitely be heading back thete

I will start by saying the soft play area at the back of the bar is no longer there.It has been converted into a large game room downstairs and four fantastic additional B&B rooms upstairs.Originally, I only saw photos of the rooms above the pub before renovation and never saw those after. However, we had the pleasure of staying in the room above the games room. It was fantastic, very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower.The location is great and despite being right in the heart of things, it was still quiet enough to leave windows open.The breakfast was amazing! Standard cooked breakfast, cereals, continental options and lastly American style pancakes.So seriously, don't you dare book it before I get to book it again.
