Delicious Chinese food and an extensive menu!

We usually order from one of the Chinese from bideford but decided to give this a try as the reviews seemed good. Honestly wish we hadn't bothered, the chicken balls batter was not fully cooked and was soft on the outside. The special fried rice was tasteless. Maybe we caught an off day, but we now prefer to drive all the way to bideford than order again.

This is the second time I’ve tried Yaus House as I sometimes think one time might be a one off. In this case I’ve got to say that this take away is an absolute gem. It’s as good as any Chinese restaurant I’ve tried. The service is impeccable, the food is outstanding; fresh, hot, best ingredients, super tasty 😋. I can’t recommend this place enough and I’m a Chef 👨🏻‍🍳

I am addicted to this takeaway. Fantastic range at a great price. I have travelled all over the UK and have not seen another Chinese takeaway serving the same specials that Yau serves. My partner's staple is the crispy chicken with butter sauce. I love that this place isn't afraid to try something new, for a time they had marmite chicken which was absolutely delicious. Fantastic quick, polite service. Highly recommend!

Yau's house have a lovely, quick, friendly service. Their menu is great (I am addicted to the butter chicken) and as a result my husband and I are regulars. Delicious food, fully recommend!

Authentic Chinese takeaway established over 30 years and it shows in the quality! Friendly staff and tasty food. fresh produce and vegetables are crisp. Highly recommended but don't do delivery

Greatest quality of food. Prawns and beef their speciality. Lower use of MSG is great addition. Lovely family business and I have always got frest cooked from 6pm so no re-heats experienced !!!
