We had a lovely breakfast and chilli, my friend said her scrambled eggs were the best she’d had in a long time! Lovely service and atmosphere, would definitely come again!

Awful! Friend and I went for English breakfast. Service was timely, despite them being busy. But - Food was over cooked, and cold. Not sure what the scrambled egg was - looked like reconstituted wartime egg! The toast was nice ....

Lovely little place where we stopped for a coffee. It was cozy and neat. Our drinks were wonderfully warming.

Popped in for breakfast, asked for poached eggs, but were told they could not cook them, only fried or scrambled available. Fried over cooked and scrambled were dry. Not impressed.

Seated us after making space and adding a chair was nice of them to do. Had tea/scone, coffee and some flapjacks which were very tasty & the tea was amazing. Perhaps a little more friendly from the waitress and it would be 5 stars.

Called in today and a helpful lady found us seats indoors, which was about as good as this place gets. Once seated we appeared to be forgotten about. It was entertaining for a short time watching the calamities that unfolded around us whilst waiting to order. A couple on the next table had 1 breakfast served when they had ordered 2. Interesting watching 2 people share a cooked breakfast. Another gent complained about the price of the food and between them that family were able to contaminate 3 tables before they were satisfied with where to sit. There appeared to be a bizarre payment system in place... once you had placed your order someone else immediately came and took payment before your food order had reached the kitchen. Weird. Anyway we waited and waited and eventually left unchallenged. Would have preferred to support this local business, but with service like this waitrose provided our lunch. Sorry.

The quality of the food was awful. My cream tea was a scone that had been microwaved for far to long and was like rubber and tasteless. My husbands breakfast was an overcooked reheated sausage tinned mushrooms and reheated new potatoes just awful. We grudged paying for it. Definitely would not recommend

What a fab find.Great food, great staff, lovely environment. The refills on coffee and tea with the breakfasts were unexpected and very welcome. We had such a good time and cannot recommend it highly enough. While I can reccomend the braveheart breakfast it is not for the faint hearted. Proper meaty sausages, thick sliced bacon and plenty of extras. The menu has something for almost everyone without trying too hard.Everything is cooked fresh and well presented. The service is friendly and professional. They take the time to check on you without overdoing it. A tricky balance but they make it look easy.I am already looking forward to my next visit.
