Excellent experience stayed for new years eve Dave and his team work tremendously hard all are so friendly the rooms are a good size reasonable price breakfast is amazing value and good fresh ingredients room decor a little dated but you are only using it for a base but a great night's sleepGreat selection of alcohol and soft drinks nothing is too much trouble would definitely recommend the fox and hounds and will return

Staff friendly pub & restaurant nice and inviting. Food let them down we had steak which was cooked well but the chips and mushrooms and sliced onions were left under heat lamps while steak was being cooked. Partner had jacket potato which was served with no butter and mushrooms were dry and onions looked disgusting. Drinks OK reasonable price. Only one person taking orders and serving which is why food was possibly left under heat lamps too long also a choice of veg and a sauce added to menu would be a good idea especially when having a steak

Have always loved The Fox & Hounds but I have never been there in my caravan until now. Easy going owners just leave you to it which is what I like(!), other than being super helpful when I went inside to ask about hook up and to pay. Best mulled cider too!

Great food and service. Beautifully decorated for Christmas Extensive menu. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We had an amazing Sunday roast here whilst on holiday. It was amazing. The pub was really busy but the food was top quality. Highly recommend 👍

Great local restaurant and bar - really busy even on a Tuesday in November. Hardstanding with hook up behind the hotel basic but perfectly adequate. Would return.

Food was very poor and over-priced. The barman was excellent, but the waitresses were disinterested in getting the order right and more interested gossiping at the bar or looking at their phones.For the price of the food, you would expect a lot more quality and a lot better service.

Everywhere else on a Sunday is shut and not surving food where as the fox and hounds was, The staff were very polite, very helpful and friendly. The menu was still on and you could have anything you wanted even late evening! The food was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone driving by pop in and try or just even go there and try for yourself you won't be disappointed! The portions are huge! I will definitely be going back again and again.

Very nice pub. Stopped off for a meal out while camping nearby; friendly staff, very helpful while booking. Good food, decent menu with a nice range - nothing particularly exotic but between us we had a range of dishes (including kids) and it all disappeared in its entirety! Didn't have a drink but looked to have some good beers around, and by the time we left it had filled up and had a nice atmosphere.

Great campsite and pub on the edge of Dartmoor. Fortunately the campsite is set back from the road, and pleasantly flat unlike most of Dartmoor. Excellent curry and steamed puddings and portions, but some of the meals were less good and it could really do with a decor upgrade. Lovely staff too.
