Excellent country pub, packed to the rafters and a great band on.

Went for my birthday, sat in the gorgeous garden. The owners are lovely, great food. Thank you. Seeing the baby lamb , your awesome dogs and bolshy cat made my day

Absolutely gorgeous cosy inn, owners are so lovely and friendly. Had a fantastic vegan breakfast too! Highly recommend for a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings.

Love this old pub. So much character and charm. The new owners are making a good effort to reignite the local passion for this pub and are on the road to succeeding. The newly formed cafe is a great touch too.

My husband and I spent three nights in the Devils Stone Inn and what an experience, from the minute we arrived, it was just amazing. Now under new management, the lovely couple who now own the Pub/B&B made us feel very welcome. If you don't mind getting off the beaten path, this little gem is worth it. Really was old school, right down to the rooms still using real keys, really added to the whole experience. One of the owners met us and took our luggage to our room and what a beautiful room it was too. Lovely interiors in keeping with the history of the Inn, made us feel like we were royalty.Room was excellent clean and everything you could have expected with the added bonus of plenty of storage. Our room overlooked the pretty village square with a beautiful church and the infamous Stone.Breakfast was amazing but the overall experience for us was the friendly atmosphere, the owners couldn’t do enough for us it was the best break ever. There is a wonderful garden with beautiful views which is well received after a day of walking. The central location means you can be in Bude, Cornwall in 25 mins or investigating the tiny local parishes nearby. The Inn is surrounded in history and is supposedly the most haunted pub in the UK, sadly the only noise I heard at night was my husband’s snoring!Well worth the visit

Lovely pub, very welcoming. Their Ploughman's lunch is a must!

To a traveller in need , this pub houses the nicest and kindest landlord and landlady you will find anywhere. If you add to the mix great locals, great beer, lovely rooms and a ploughman's that for the first time defeated me, you have the perfect place to stay

A great village pub, recently taken over by the new owners. The previous owners were great, and the new ones are just as good - friendly, welcoming, helpful, and a lovely feature for the village. Great selection of drinks, warm atmosphere, hopefully soon some offerings of bar snacks and pub food.
