Dukes is in a great location for people watching on the perimeter of the pannier market. Friendly service, a good choice of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and cake. We opted for a latte, deluxe hot chocolate (cream, chocolate sprinkles, and a chocolate flake 😃), and a Bakewell slice, which was delicious. The weather couldn't make it's mind up so we took advantage of the covered outdoor seating. I recommend Dukes as an ideal location for a coffee break when enjoying the delights of Tavistock.

We had a lunchtime delivery, the food was delicious and I found it great value for money. The driver was really chatty and helpful. I wasn’t aware they delivered but am so glad we noticed it on the website. Will definitely use again.

Excellent cafe within Tavistock market. My wife and I had lunch here today. There is plenty of outdoor seating and whilst the menu was short (ideal), the choice of food is delicious and served by friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended when visiting Tavistock.

Quick service but too quick waiting for our food. You know food taking no more than 5 minutes means it's going to be disappointing. Ordered the loaded burger with Stilton cheese and it was nothing but poor. Paying over £7 for a 5mm burger, topped with powdered Stilton cheese. Best part was it amused my wife to point of crying with too much laughter.

Service was quick and friendly and the menu had a good selection of sandwiches and other lunch items but unfortunately we were all slightly underwhelmed by our food. It was also quite expensive for what it was with each of us paying around £8 for a mediocre sandwich. The location is excellent though and you do get a nice vibe if you're able to sit outside.
