Gidleigh Park in West Devon

Superb, world class, from check in, bar, room, food, my only regret was not staying a day longer,

We had a wonderful night at the Gideleigh Park hotel during January. The gardens are beautiful to wander around, the hotel is comfortable and elegant, the meal was sublime with a good selection of wines. However, the most outstanding feature is the service which was utterly perfect. I do hope to come back again very soon.

Great experience as always. Beautiful time of year to visit for the last of the autumn colour. 🍂 Rooms lacking a few frills due to the pandemic sadly but this did not detract.

Don't believe satnav, it takes you to a path 3mls away....the original entrance is 1600 when it was built....when you get there. WOW great old world charm country hotel, great service, staff and food. Only marked down because of satnav fail!

My birthday cream tea was amazing. A place that l would highly recommend. Beautiful grounds. Excellent service. The staff were very attentive and polite. 10 out 10 for the short time that we were there and enjoyed immensely. Looking forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed our stay very much, fabulous food, beautiful room (deluxe woodland view) Beautiful grounds to walk in and the woodland walk was so pretty with the water cascades etc.

Absolutely stunning place, we have a couple of champagne cream teas,They were amazing!!Great service. And a nice walk around the grounds afterwards. And dog friendly too !!

We visited on Friday 13th August for a long awaited Afternoon Tea for a belated Mothers Day. Our mum has been so looking forward to this day since March and it lived up to expectations and beyond. From the moment we stepped through the door Marick and the team gave us the very best treatment. A fabulous Afternoon tea with abundant tea and amazing service. Thank you to you all and keep up all the good work, we cannot wait to see you all again.

My partner and I visited for afternoon tea, and it was incredible. The setting couldn’t be any more beautiful and immediately we were greeted by Marek, who gave us our choice of where to sit for our stay.The selection of teas were amazing as was the food. Would highly recommend a visit, made even better by the highly attentive staff.

Just a lovely place for high tea. We came here for the long weekend and had a wonderful time. The cakes were delicious and the service was attentive. We had a walk around afterwards and the grounds are beautiful and stunning. Wish we had a chance to stay here too. Very relaxing atmosphere.
