Great little spot for a quick dinner. We came here on the off chance and we got a table. Cocktails are fairly priced but need a little work... Good food but just a little more attention to detail... bathroom where very well kept with perfumes and products which was really good touch. I feel like looking at the old photos that the chef may have changed, as I saw scallops but none where on the menu. Quite pricey for the quality as sweet and sour sauce hadn't been reduced enough thus being flavourless. Some staff where really good but needed to be that little more attentive but a good quick dinner spot if you are in a rush. A small note that I did notice we were eating from a lunch menu at dinner time?

My husband and I come to Westward Ho! for a holiday every year and Morans used to be a regular place to eat until a few years ago when we had a disappointing visit. However, as it was my birthday we wanted to give it another go. My husband went in personally a few days before to reserve a table by the window and was assured he would get one. We even received a phone call the morning of our visit to confirm the booking. When we arrived there was no table by the window and we were told they knew nothing about the request. We then had to negotiate a table near the front as they tried to sit us out the back near the toilets. Not a great start but we did not want it to ruin my birthday.The two stars are for my food as it was quite tasty. I had a monkfish curry from the specials which was very nice. There was way more onion than fish but it was a generous portion and with rice, filling. My husband had a stir fry which was a very small portion for an adult and had very little chicken in it.The main issue we had was the service from the waiting staff. We had to ask 3 times for the water we requested which eventually came after our main meal arrived and was just dumped on the table. No-one came to check the food was OK and a few of them seemed to be spending more time chatting to locals that had popped in for a drink rather than the people eating. Some of the waiting staff were also making themselves cocktails and drinking them at the bar! They may have been mocktails but I would not expect them to be behavi g that way whilst at work.The lack of customer service was so disappointing and ruined our experience and made what should have been a lovely birthday meal, a complete disappointment. Sadly Morans will not be on my to visit list again when we return later in the year.

We came here for dinner and was very disappointed. We really wanted to like this place bec of the glowing reviews but the quality of service and food was just not worth the money. We felt like we were ignored for some reason, compared to the other customers. No side plates, no crackers, no cutlery, not even a large enough jug of water. The curries just tasted of coconut milk and not much else. If you're looking for a nice meal in Westward Ho, you'd best go somewhere else.

Fresh ingredients, the food was packed with flavour and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Service was good. We sat outside- a lovely spot to sit and although we had to order food and drinks inside it didn't spoil a thing.

The ambiance is really good and all the team there is so nice and kind!The food is good but not special. I've found the portions a bit small for the price, but the quality is good. Overall, a very positive experience.

Excellent, authentic Thai food with plenty of gluten free and plant-based options. My Jackfruit & vegetable red curry was sumptuous and my wife & son really enjoyed their Beef Masaman despite the carbon emissions guilt. Informal but attentive service with plenty of space, not the cheapest at £60 for mains and drinks for 3 but very well worth it

Wonderful as ever. Food and cocktails top tier. Portions very generous but our lovely waitress offered a box for the leftovers. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Bathrooms clean and well provided with towels and a few extra courtesy touches.

Great cocktails, delicious food (with excellent vegan/veggie options!!) and lively, fun atmosphere. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Lovely classy decor as well, with cosy little seating areas.

Friendly and attentive staff. Took time to get the chef to come talk to us about food allergy issues affecting some of our party. Enjoyed my Thai red curry very much. A good night out.
