Popped in for the 1st time as a table of 5, greeted and welcomed in and two tables put together to accommodate. Hassle free. Great Dairy Free selection, which you hardly find elsewhere. Great for a dairy intolerance husband. Service quick and friendly. Food was amazing, and the hot chocolate lush. Great to find a cafe which supports local. Great experience. Will certainly visit again.

A great early morning Sunday visit yesterday. Really good service and very good menu. Had a Countryman's Breakfast which was really tasty and good value for money, they even swapped an item without quibble. I would thoroughly recommend.

I just want to move in. I always have a poached egg on cheese on toast and a piece of Karen's scrumptious cake and boy, this lady can bake! I could happily eat my way through the cake cabinet. The coffee cake is divine and yesterday, I experienced the cranberry and orange sponge covered in white chocolate, yum.Karen and her team are the greatest, so welcoming. We love coming in and have to visit weekly. Thank you.x

Absolutely loved this place. We ordered from the 2 course lunch menu, and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the portions. I ordered the shepherd's pie and my husband the lasagne. Really tasty food. Good plate full. For dessert we both had lemon meringue pie. Nice big fluffy meringue and zesty lemon part. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend eating here if ever visiting Tavistock.

Lovely little traditional English cafe. Brought my young Son in for breakfast. Waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Just the right amount of care. Brought my Son's food out first and kept mine warm so I could enjoy it after without being asked. Fantastic selection of Gluten Free and Dairy free cakes and Desserts. One of the most relaxing and enjoyable dining experiences I have had in ages. Will definitely be back. Thanks!

Great tea rooms. Food is nice and tasty.Lots of cakes available to purchase with your cuppa. The only complaint would be that the mushrooms were tiny and the extra item purchased ( black pudding on one breakfast and hogs pudding on the other). Was just not worth the extra £1.70 paid for each additional item.Apart from that it was very nice.
