The tuna and sweetcorn jacket potato wasn't great. Hardly any sweetcorn mixed in with the tuna which was more mayo than tuna. People were friendly & the place is very quirky.

Great roast dinner and pudding, just like the old days. Lovely people and so many interesting ornaments and pictures. We will definitely come back.

Two of us went for lunch today and had really good meals at very reasonable prices. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely go there again and recommend it to others.

Lovely little tea shop full of history! Delicious home made food at reasonable prices, well worth a stop and they have dog treats for your furry friends too.

I love this place! The staff are friendly, there's a great selection on the menu and there are always home made cakes in the cabinet. It never disappoints.

Very nice people and location.Food is ok not terrible and not great just average. Not like home cooked food more like tinned food but it is always served hot.Drinks are very nice.Price of the food a bit high for the quality of food compared to some other places.I mean like the difference between farm fresh and supermarket products. Very likeable staff.

The reason im giving 2 stars is because of the gorgeous oustanding scenery of the moors, the cafe however is a total different story. We ve visited this place twice now for a cream tea but the offerings were pitiful.The 1st time, it was a wknd and they had an unexpected party of 6, plus some of their staff let them down so we understood but when the drinks came out without the cream tea ??? Um we ordered a cream tea for 2 , surely it shld ve all come together?? Not at all the tea and coffee came out and was cold, not given with enough milk or any sugar and they took over an hour. Really! Didnt bother waiting for the cream tea and scones, we d ve been there all day.We barely touched it, the table shld ve of been cleared AND washed but wasnt.The 2nd time we decided to give another try but again took forever, there were only 3 small tables to serve indoors and a few outside with 2 customers each including ourselves. The drinks arrived eventually, again only warm, we had to ask for extra milk then over an hour later our bacon sandwiches. There was only 1 rasher of bacon per sandwich which was stone cold and cremated , worst food and service ever. They cld do so much better with a cafe in such a gorgeous area. It was Monday so not at all busy yet the service was slow, think they cook the food and leave it on the side while they sit on their phones. We didnt even get asked what bread we preferred so was served with 1/2 and 1/2 bread which i hate with bacon sarnies.When i went in to order and complain there were dishes in the sink and whatever staff they had , were sat around doing nothing.Terrible, terrible , terrible. Wld definately NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE UNLESS YOU VE GOT HOURS TO SPARE.NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN, WORST EATERIE EVER.

We tried to go for a hot drink here to escape a downpour. It was complete chaos. Never known people less suited to running a hospitality establishment. Openly complaining about the number of people coming in to avoid the rain. Telling people they couldn't sit inside because all the table we're reserved for Sunday lunch even tho it was only around 10.30 in the morning.
