Lifton Hall Hotel in West Devon

I have lunched here before the menu is a little limited but presented well and is tasty. Will definitely return .

Lovely hosts, great location for access to many places. Homely, warm and very comfortable, great breakfasts and food in the evening. We will definately return and are also looking forwards to joining friends and family in the self catering unit at some point in the future.

Food is delicious and very generous portions. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Beautiful setting. Would definitely go again. 10/10

There was a fair few of us but the service was seamless and just the right side of attentive. Wonderful food served by warm friendly and funny hosts. Made for an excellent evening.

Friendly polite and extremely helpful staff who put in alot of effort to make this hotel exceptionally welcoming and efficiently run. Breakfast was especially delicious as so were our evening meals . Highly recommend to stay here

We are so impressed! Stayed for 2 night break. Room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We had the tasting menu one night which was excellent, the breakfast was so good. We have never had such an excellent meal. Sometimes we have gone to hotels where the food looks good but taste awful, not at the Lifton, food was excellent, staff so professional and polite, will definitely recommend to others.

I am so impressed! Staying for s 2 night break. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. We have just been down to the restaurant to have a tasting menu which puts a lot of Michelin starred restaurants to shame. We have never had such an excellent menu put together so well. My husband is a 'challenging' eater and enjoyed every course. Well done Lifton Hall. Can't wait for Sunday lunch!

Stayed here the weekend, got in on a Thursday and left on Sunday.The service was fantastic, and food some of the best I’ve eaten! 😋It’s a beautiful hotel, set in some of the most rural and picturesque landscape.Some of the friendliest staff I’ve had the pleasure to be served by!Location was more or less centre, 45 minutes to each coast, not too far to drive to a few bigger townsHighly recommend going to see Lydford Gorge

We stayed one night on the way down to Cornwall and we were so glad we did! Service was prompt, friendly and accommodating, the room was well appointed. Food was absolutely amazing, clearly good quality and prepared with care. Also dog friendly which for us was a bonus! Would definitely recommend this hotel highly. Thankyou to all the staff who made our stay pleasant and stress free!
