Market Inn in West Devon

Very nice friendly pub, bit slow service

Just had a full English breakfast at market inn in Tavistock, was lovely and a great variety off options as well to suit everyone. Staff are friendly and welcoming and was nice to stop somewhere different. Definitely be back again to try the pancakes.

Run by a group of very pleasant ladies. Clean, good food, good experience.

Absolutely lovely pub brilliant service, food is fantastic , good variety of drinks available enjoyed the live entertainment over the weekend definitely will be returning as soon as possible the family garden area at the back was great for children and pet friendly 🤗

Great pub food, a warm welcome, comprehensive selection of drinks, eclectic choice of furnishings and a lovely atmosphere what more could you want. Live music? You get that as well. Win win!

Quite pleasant. Landlady is lovely and made us feel welcome. Basic pub grub but no complaints...it was hot and tasty and did the job. It wasn't busy but there was a comfortable atmosphere and my partner was happy with the beer!

Just been in the Market for the first time in about 2 years for a Sunday roast and WOW, has to be one of if not the tastiest roasts in Tavi! Portion sizes are incredible as my setee will testify for at least the next hour or so.Seriously good people of Tavistock, try the food you won't be disappointed

Classic older Pub.Recently refurbished .Car park and small beer garden. This place is cosy and welcoming with two open fires. very comfortable and once there it is hard to leave! T. V. Sports, a pool table and a dart board are on tap as are a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Food is served lunchtimes and evenings. Best thing about the place? The owners, Martin and his wife Barbera are wonderful, hospitable people. Not open to 3pm on Mondays. No food on Mondays. Highly recommended. Now serving a selection of delicious home made pizzas, eat in or take away. I ordered one today and can personally recommend it.

This pub has recently changed hands, so don't mistake older reviews for being an accurate representation. Lovely, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Martin and Barbara are great. The new chef (within the last few weeks) is brilliant, I cannot recommend the new and improved Belly Pork strongly enough!
