OCRA - Paviion in the Park in West Devon

I have to give a big shout out to the staff at the Cafe on Sunday May 1st. 3 of us arrived and requested a roast meal, but they had only served roasts for prior bookings. The chef very kindly said if we could wait 20 minutes she would do them for us. It was delicious. What is more, they packaged up 3 deserts to take away as we were too full to eat them at the time. This was all included in the price and served in such a lovely manner that we could not believe what amazing service we had. It made our Sunday. Well done all. And they are dog friendly.

Clean, basic, no atmosphere.Service ok-ish. The cake was good, well made and tasty.

The young gentleman who served us was very friendly and polite. The food was excellent.

Lovely and affordable coffees, a very welcoming and comfortable café which is really dog friendly. Recommended for its location too, in stunning Simmons Park. I've uploaded some photos of a wonderful handmade wall hanging, which shows in exquisite detail almost every aspect of the Park including the massive oak tree near the college. Inside and outside tables, a lift to the upstairs suitable for wheelchairs and plenty of space to not feel crowded. It's also much quieter than the town cafes. 10/10 for welcome, service, quality and location.

Avoid. Coffee in paper cups. Sounds lovely but not worth a visit. Staff talking to a customer at the counter without a mask. Not covid safe

Having done my licensee course I knew that what they done at a private party was wrong, I suggest the manager re does hers or knows facts before confiscating drinks off two girls, And alsoshe should inform parents or parent that was there... I fill that she handled the situation wrong all down to her young bar staff who I saw having a drink o one rule for one and one rule for another... Disgraceful
