Ordered a chicken balti, a lamb Balti turned up. Which no one eats. Rang the restaurant was told 10/15 mins. Rang back after 20 and was told to wait it takes time to cook and before i could reply with I’ll just take a refund. Phone was put down on me. Delivery driver was lovely. Only reason why they are not getting 1 star

I was visiting locally to this restaurant and the first night I decided to order a takeaway for delivery from this restaurant. I was astonished that they asked £10 for the delivery so we went and picked it up. Food was average. Today I phoned to order, this time I was asked for £18 delivery. When I asked why it was different to last time I was told it was because I needed to order more. I asked why when it would cost no more for them to deliver £20 or £100 of food. Let me tell the people of Okehampton this establishment is ripping you off. It seems they are all in cahoots as another restaurant the Mumbai? Are the same. If I was the people in this town I'd stop buying from them and let a decent fair company move in. It's no wonder people in this area struggle when there are charlatans like this settling up camp.

Absolutely delicious takeaway, requested mango chutney as it wasn’t on the online ordering menu and they arrived with our meal in perfect timing accompanied by 2 pots of mango chutney! They also delivered our meal with extra popadoms too, Rajpoot are by far the best takeaway in town with amazing curry’s and condiments.

The food was Fantastic but the service was a big let down!!We had a table booked for 19.00 for 6 people. We entered through the door at street level and stood in the restaurant for 5 mins but no one came to greet us, we had to go downstairs and look for a member of staff! We were shown to our table and given menus to look at. There was a large group already seated maybe 20 people and all the staff seemed to be busy with them!A waiter did eventually ask what drinks we wanted. 4 of our group only wanted water as they were driving. This got tutted at and when it arrived it was tepid tap water so we had to ask for ice.Another very abrupt waiter came to the table and said "ready to order?" but we were waiting for one other person to arrive so we asked for 5 more minutes to which he replied "we are very busy" then walked away.We ordered as soon as the last person arrived. Food only took about 15/20 minutes to arrive and all the plates that were handed to us were Very hot!!The waiter wasn't sure what one of the curries was so he grabbed a spoon from the table and gave it a stir!! (We all thought he was going to taste it 😂) He was looking for pineapple so he knew which dish it was!!All the food was really good and the portions were generous! At the end we asked to split the bill and pay for our own orders as some had had alcohol and some had had desserts!! Another grumpy waiter came to the table and said "why don't you just split it between 6 of you?!! Then he proceeded to tap numbers into a calculator and gave us all a price.Shortly afterwards we left, no staff member thanked us for our custom or even spoke to us as we left!!Food 10/10 service 5/10 but I would go again!!

We ordered lamb korma, lamb dansak, chicken tika, onion bargie, garlic naan and normal naan.It was all good and well packed. I loved to have lamb korma with coconut flavor but I was too sweet for everyone.

Visited for the buffet. At £12.95 it wasn't the cheapest and the standard of food was nothing special. Nothing was bad but nothing was great either. In particular I would have like to have seen more vegetables within the curry dishes rather than just chicken and sauce. Perhaps the best dish was the Tawa Gosht. The beer was cheap at £3.95 for a large bottle but could have been cooler - I guess you could describe the temperature as authentic though - I've had many a similarly temperatured beer in India!
