Beautiful, friendly local pub. Great scotch eggs and a nice warm fire to warm your toes after a long days walk.

Very friendly landlord and customers, 4 excellent beers, lovely traditional interior with big fire much appreciated on a wet afternoon

Perfect, cosy pub, beautifully decorated, roaring fire, selling the best pies in Devon. Could not be better, everything a country pub should be.

Warm fire. Good beer. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Very picturesque inside and out.

A friendly and warm welcome. Fireplace with a roaring fire and candle lit tables. Fairly priced drinks too. If you pass by in the evening your bound to meet an eclectic mix of locals with favinating stories to tell. I highly recommend you stop by. Wonderful pub.

Good old fashioned pub with very helpful friendly staff. Food looked good, we only had a drink this time in the beer garden.

If your planning to eat lunch here dont. Their website may tell you that they are open 12 till 11.00pm from Weds onwards but when we called on a Weds they were closed other than a guy their saying they now opened at 4.00 and he would check the website. As of now its still wrong. The Globe or Ring of bells in nearby Chagford are open lunchtimes dog friendly and are interested in making money.

Sunday Lunch - 6th April 2014Visited Sandy Park Inn for Sunday Lunch and had a lovely meal.My wife had the roast beef and I had the slow roasted lamb shoulder. Portions were a good size, plenty of vegetables (9 different types!) and our host was very friendly and helpful.For pudding we sampled the apple and plum crumble with custard, which was also very tasty. We followed this with coffee before departing.Service was prompt and the price was very reasonable coming in at £27 for the meal including drinks with the meal and coffees afterwards.The place is quite small and parking is not exactly easy, although there is room for four or five cars directly in front of the Inn.I have no doubt that we will return.

Lovely old style English pub with real ale and large slate paving stones. Plenty of rustic characters slouched around the place too. Friendly service and good decor. Had a pizza which was delicious and veal which was a little bland despite the pesto type sauce. Room was great with no TVs which is a great bonus. Bed was super comfortable. Very tastefully country chic decorated. Noisy road outside mind. WiFi however is plenty so you can get your digital fill.The morning breakfast was superb. Couldn't be faulted and beautifully presented.The only negative was the piped Classic FM in the bar during the evening and morning. Why would you have commercial radio in a pub with adverts every 5 minutes? Just irritating! They should check out radio paradise or other commercial free internet radio stations.Lovely beer garden to escape it all if the suns shining though.
