Lovely country pub! Staff very busy because all tables fully booked. So not quite the feel I like in a pub but on the other hand I do like to see a pub doing well. I’ve eaten here before and the food is innovative and tasty, but ring ahead. It can be busy

Went in today on the way back from climbing at The Barn and we had a lovely meal. Nice wood burner near the bar too. Will definitely be going there again when we're next up that way.

Safe & Sound had our Xmas company meal tonight and the food and hospitality could not be faulted the rib-eye steak was to die for and Sue was brilliant dealing with our requests and joining in with the banter, would not hesitate to recommend this great pub.

A friendly locals' pub. Sadly, they were out of Plymouth gin as the Young Farmers had cleared them out the night before! They recommended others and I risked the Clotted Cream one, which had a subtle Clotted Cream taste when mixed with tonic and ice.The food was amazing, especially the Thai option (the chef is Thai and the food authentic) although the pie was very good too.

Was recommended by our campsite (saw another group of campers there too!). Traditional old village pub serving good honest pub grub. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Tasty food in congenial surroundings. Just what we needed. Great 👍

Saw the reviews and went for an evening meal for 4. Saw the Thai choices and now know the landlord’s partner is the Thai chef. All 4 dishes were delicious and fresh. Ice cream scoops enormous and fantastic. Definitely recommend
