Had two roasts2go which were delicious. Fresh food beautifully cooked. The billionaires tart was truly luxurious. Definitely value for money.

Just had Sunday lunch. The food was perfect, the hosts very welcoming and the staff were attentive but my intrusive. Really excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

A last minute booking as wanted something substantial to eat after a hike around Belstone Tor area. Carvery was lovely, good selection of meats and vegetables. Staff attentive and helpful. Masks are required until you are sat at your table, which I was glad about.

The food here was delicious everyone was impressed by the generous carvery portions. They looked after me well as a vegan too with a lovely stuffed squash dish and freshly made vegan gravy. The staff were helpful and the whole place was well organised and safe for social distancing. If you have a vegan in your party they appreciate a little notice.

There for a Carvery lunch Sun 25/11/18. Food 1st class & a large plate always. We have never had such Excellent Beef so Tender it just falls apart with no need for Steak knives.Pork Lamb Turkey Roast Ham joints as well as lovely Hot Veg & Hot plates a really lovely meal and nice place to eat. We'll be going again soon. Any excuse will do. It's that good.

We visited as a large group, 24 of us! They were very accommodating and friendly. The staff werr polite and professional throughout the time we were there.The food was well cooked, presented well and delicious. Cannot fault anything. The desserts were just as amazing!

Had another lovely meal here last night. Would recommend the Countryman with confidence to anyone. The food and the owners are so friendly it's a pleasure to dine here. Also, our neighbours have had a meal to take away and they were impressed. Which is handy if you have a dog and don't like to leave them in the car.
