The Dining Room in West Devon

Such a lovely stay here. The team noticed we had kiddies in the booking and called me prior to the stay to find out what bed set-up we wanted, which I thought was a lovely touch. The bed linen was lovely quality and the bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of homemade bits, a range of juices and fruit and really excellent cooked offering.

Was only there for Tesla supercharger but the receptionist was super helpful and friendly.Visited the deli which was small but had everything you need for a quick stop and recharge.Would visit next time for food.

Wonderful lunch in the most gorgeous hotel. We also had fantastic service. (For our parents' wedding anniversary).

Visited briefly whilst waiting for the car to charge in their large car park.Staff provided an excellent service. Roast ham sandwich with a few crisps and rocket ordered. Simple presentation which was reflected in the price of £6.50.

Been visiting and staying several times a year for over 30 years. Fishing excellent. Little touches however that made our visit special now gone ie canapes, taster menus, bathrobes, tv in room and same menu and price whether in restaurant or bar. Especially miss the wonderfully cooked mixed grill of seafish! We will always have however very fond memories of this place.

I was taken there for an early birthday meal. Lovely surroundings and lovely food (which was excellent). Would definitely recommend.

This is a very nicely run, friendly and comfortable place to stay. We were two couples enjoying a few days down in Devon and staying at this famous fishing hotel came up to all our expectations. The food is excellent and well priced, the staff without exception were helpful and friendly, particularly the owner, and we shall certainly be back when we can. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliantCozy, lovely and reasonably priced farm shop. Visited Day1 and Day7 of the farm shop. Excellent customer care and great choices for all products including wine.Hotel is a state of art. Luxurious and using green energy- a rare combination. Credit goes to Simon- the entrepreneur and his team. I would be there again.

I've had to remove my 5 star review.The Arundell is not what it used to be - after years of visiting, it looks like the service and quality has taken a nose dive.I did email before writing this review - but got no response.

Came here for an anniversary meal and the service was the best I have ever experienced not to mention the delightful food. As a vegan it is hard finding places to eat but the cook specially crafted a delicious mousse dessert just for me. Overall it was a magical night and I would highly recommend eating here.
