Had sandwiches and cream tea. No complaints at all, generous portion and shop very busy considering it is a normal weekend in early March.Counter service to order a bit odd in this day and age in a tea shop, but they do bring your order to you and tea pot included a big pot if extra hot water too.

Fox tor cafe is a lovely place to eat at from a traditional English breakfast to paninis. Everything is cooked fresh and very flavourful. They do have a kids menu which I couldn't find on there website so I asked when I got there. The staff were very helpful and polite and catered very well for a group of 13 of us (book in advance). The only real issue I can think of which can't really be helped or changed without huge renovation is that the toilets are outside in a separate block up a short gravel path which would be very easy for wheelchair users other then that is a fab place to eat 😀 well worth a visit

Excellent! Food was superb. Very friendly staff. What's more they are very welcoming to dogs. It was the first time we had taken our rescue greyhound Sebastian into a cafe. He was given treats as well 🐾.

We were warmly welcomed even wearing hiking boots & with our dog. We had the best cream tea we had had in years, delicious scones, quality jam and plenty of cream. We recommend a visit.

Decent choice of vegan and vegetarian breakfasts. Delicious cakes. Great selection of tea and the coffee was really good. Dog friendly too.

As always clean and well organised premises. Friendly atmosphere. Staff polite and helpful. Quick efficient service. Variations on menu not a problem. Excellent service, food served hot and tasty, even though reduced staffing level at the time of visit.

Only getting 3 stars on this occasion as their website said it was open on Boxing day, we drove 40 minutes, only to be disappointed and find it was closed..Otherwise I love this place, lovely food, freshly made, cosy and comfortable and a walkers oasis after a long walk..

Lovely fresh food. Simple menu but that's all you want in a cafe. Gluten free all day breakfast and the best veggie burger I've had in a long time. Sun trap outside tables for warm days. Charming service.
