Absolutely, outstanding, quality food.We went on a whim, on a Sunday, the staff went out their way to find us a table, despite not booking and it being busy. Wait for food was not long, considering how busy it was and such good food, totally worth the price. I'm still dreaming about the gravy.

Simply wonderful.Headed there on a friday night with another couple for my wife’s birthday. Food was absolutely delicious. 2 of us had the Nepalese curry which had us in a Bisto moment when someone else was served. Smelled Devine and was generous in size and very tasty. The other two ordered spiced lamb Wellington, this was exceptional and so very very full of flavour. We booked ahead and thankful that we did as it was packed. Staff could not of been politer and honestly the meal was faultless.Rolled out having eaten to our hearts content and could not recommend the place enough.

Amazing pub food although the food is 1 million miles away from your typical pub Grub. It's high end restaurant food at pub prices in a stunningly cosy local with a lovely roaring woodburner . The gentleman serving was really friendly and efficient. We are from Barnstaple and will strive to come here more often. Superb!!!!

Came here for a Sunday roast today and the staff were great, the food was wonderful, and they were very accommodating for my wife and I. Along with our three dogs. Very nice find and highly recommend making a visit if you are in the Georgeham area. We hopefully can go back again.

Four of us came for lunch n Sunday. Our friends had been before and commented highly of it. I follow them on Instagram and was looking for are to it.Unfortunately due to shortage of staff the starters weren’t on offer. The roast dinners were delicious. Lovely selection of veg and beautifully cooked meat.We were forgotten once. But in all honesty the service was so good before and after we didn’t really mind.We had some wonderful desserts and the pause between main and desserts was actually lovely because I didn’t quite feel fit to burst! It was lovely seeing a local establishment so busy after/during a pandemic and after Christmas. We look forward to coming again.

I made a booking based on the fantastic reviews of the Kings Arms on Trip Advisor and Google- I am happy to say I was not at all disappointed. Having travelled from Bristol, we have many establishments in the city renowned for excellent Sunday lunches, so we did have high expectations. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff, and it was really great, seeing that we were a large group seated in a private area, especially as we had young children in the group. The pub had a great drinks selection, and service was prompt with our food and drink order taken quickly. The Sunday lunches arrived in good time, and were steaming hot. We were immediately impressed by how the plate was dressed, the garnish of parsnip crisps were delicious. In fact, the whole lunch was absolutely divine, we couldn’t stop commenting on how tasty the food was. The whole group agreed it was the best Sunday roast we had ever had, and continued to talk about it during the day. The meat and vegetables were so well seasoned and fresh. Even my youngest daughter who had the kids spaghetti bolognese and is a fussy eater, thoroughly enjoyed her meal- she usually wastes food.We all enjoyed the puddings after too.My only real criticism is that we live so far away so won’t be visiting again for a while. However, we will certainly be returning at our earliest opportunity for the most amazing Sunday lunch. Thank you and compliments to the team at the Kings Arms.

Fabulous food, proper pub feel staff great. A bit out of the way but we'll worth it. I've never tasted such tasty chicken before.

5 of us visited for an evening meal on Saturday night. The service was second to none, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. We ended up unexpectedly having three courses. Every single dish was tasty and delicious, the portion sizes were good and the menu choice was superb. We will definitely be back!!
