The Old Police Station Cafe in West Devon

Very often the only place to get anything in Princetown. It's a little safe haven in the wilds of Dartmoor where the quality of fish and chips is always guaranteed. The staff are always friendly even when they're busy. Cream teas are the best for miles around too. It's easy to recommend this place.

Very good lunch meal,reasonably priced and good service. Very clean and spotless toilets . Worth a visit if you are in princetown xx

The worst sausages, pasty, chips and beans I've ever had.The chips could do with more time in the fryer.The sausages were overcooked and the skin falling off the meat, dry as hay and tastles. Same with the pasty- dry and tastless.Thank God for beans to help moisten the food- salt and vinegar was oustanding.

Can't fault the service, really lovely staff working on what should really be a national holiday for all, but the lady who served us was happy to be there. Hot chocolate was perfect! We went for full on luxury and it didn't disappoint! Not too sweet or sickly, just right, and with a proper flake with it. I also had a freshly made coronation chicken baguette, very nice. My only criticism if I had to make one is the decor and design it could do with a cosier feel but you can't have everything.. and I'll go for good service and food over fancy decor.

Cracking Cafe, cheerful staff, attentive, professional. Premises are very clean and tidy, offering a good selection of meals catering for all age groups.

Love this place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good varied menu. Yummy ice cream. Take away with the best chips. Very clean. Welcoming helpful local staff. So if you want to know where to go on Dartmoor just ask them

This is my favourite place to visit when we're on holiday in Plymouth, situated right in the middle of beautiful Princetown, we ended up going twice this time. The cream teas are exceptional and this was also the first time we tried their hot food and we weren't disappointed. All day breakfast was top notch and the roast dinner that they do everyday is gargantuan! Proper puddings too. Can't wait for my next visit

The food is excellent always piping hot. The staff are friendly and always very polite. I highly recommend this place for food. Especially a Sunday Roast.

Fantastic food good price out side at the moment but great service and lovely place we will go back again soon x
