Honest food, great beer and really friendly service from a lovely lady called Lauren. Interior is attractive and there is a suntrap beer garden out the back. Worth a visit.

Amazing Sunday roast of smoked brisket, massive Yorkshire pudding and perfectly cooked veg. Great atmosphere and service. Not at all pretentious. Just genuinely friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

Small pub with good beer, particularly the bottled Bere brewery. Food OK but if ordering a burger comes with the horrible orange burger sauce & gerkins ruined it for me.

If you are looking for a boutique dining experience in an immaculate, designer pub, this is not it. It's a wonderfully old-fashioned, proper country pub that serves great food, with a smile, at a great price.It's a bit higgeldy piggeldy, the staff are chatty and friendly, you'll probably fall into conversation with another diner as you compare dog stories, you will certainly feel welcome.We had an excellent Sunday roast - piles of tender brisket of beef, huge yorkie, plenty of perfectly cooked vegetables, crisp roasties. Don't even think sbout having two course .Loved it, will return.

Amazing place with the best one fish, pork ribs and chips as well lemon tart , amazing host Sarah . Definitely will return here . Worth to try all what is in the menu. Atmosphere of this place is full of family love.

Nice village pub. The beef burger was great along with Symonds cider. Quite a bit of refurbishment still ongoing. Will look great when finished. Probably 5 stars after that.
