The Queens Head Restaurant in West Devon

Very stunning pub. Funky, cozy and clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and stayed upstairs in one of their very nicely and newly decorated rooms.

It was okay, but had a confusing layout to the restaurant. Not really their fault because I understand they use older buildings where they can. Just an observation whilst trying to find the bar really.

Went in for lunch, although busy we were served quickly with a nice meal, fish and chips and a glass of wine. Also refills for hot drinks, really liked the hot chocolate.

What can I say, its wetherspoons, great interior and great staff, food is good but nothing more than what you expect from this chain, value for money, stayed here previously and the rooms are nice.

Great food and beverage, nice atmosphere to watch the rugby or football game.Reasonably priced, service is fine… a lot of options for drinks is the matter 😝Kind of old English building with a lot of woods, feeling comfory to spend the whole night here.

Lovely hotel situated in a lovely town. Room was very comfortable ,food very good ,staff were very friendly the best we've come across in all the spoons hotels we've stayed in,will definitely stay again 👍

Tried out the breakfast in the establishment. Food was delicious and hot which was a bonus.Wasn't a long wait after ordering before food was served. Great place to eat.

We stayed the night here and the room was great, it was very spacious and clean. Overall we had a good stay and the staff were all really friendly apart from the manager, Joe.Our whole group found him very rude, he had no idea how to run the place, he had no communication skills, he was very rude to many customers and after talking with others they also agreed he was a joke of a manager.

Next level spoons this place, absolutely elite. Rooms are so comfortable they put Lenny Henry’s place to shame. Superb value for money, with a lovely view of the high street and a great shower a bonus! You only need to stroll down stairs to grab yourself a fine breakfast in the sun lit internal courtyard - voilà! They even let you take away your free refill coffee. Can’t be many spoons up and down the country that beat this one. Pure magic.

Had a few days away near buy. We stopped in as we were having a wonder around the town as you do. It looked like an old fashioned pub from the outside. Inside was standard for Weatherspoons . The staff were very friendly and polite food was nice and hot . Could not fault it one bit.👍
