Celebrating Nan and Grandads 90th Birthday. Accomadating for lovely Sunday meal and family time in the back room after. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We had a good time.

Great food and drinks, as well as great service all reasonably priced! My friend and I popped in for a sandwich. Had prawn cocktail roll and the wholemeal rolls were so light and fluffy! Cider wasn't half bad, either!! Lattes lovely! Good parking. Decent loo's!

Good country inn serving real ales and the usual lagers. Sunday lunch needs to be booked in advance due to its popularity but they will fit you in if they can on spec.There is the farmers/small side bar, very cozy in winter but limited space.The main bar is comfortable and well behaved dogs are welcome.The last time we visited was for a Sunday lunch which was OK but some of the the veg was overdone and soggy. Had better previously but it was not bad enough to cause a stir.In good weather there is plenty of outdoor tables. Walkers and cyclists are often seen in summer.Would have been 5 stars but for the veggies last time. Still worth a visit.👍

Booked for Sunday roast for 6 plus three dogs, although a few things were forgotten and 1 persons meal, the staff quickly rectified, were very pleasant and the meal was delicious. It was nice to see chicken as an option for roast (madly, not many places do!) and it was fab. Grear value too. Will be back soon!

Busy Sunday and we still found outside seating and got served very quickly. The roast was tasty with very generous servings of veg, meat, roasties, Yorkshire pud and gravy. It does cost a bit more than other places but fair considering the quality of the food. Great stop off on the way home after a long stroll on the moors too.

Lovely pub restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu has a good choice and the quality of food is high. It's nice that there is space between tables so plenty of room and all the better for that at the moment.
