As friendly as ever with good selection of real ales. Didn't get chance to eat there but come and give this great pub some support in these hard times

Excellent Christmas Dinner enjoyed by our group. The Landlord provides consistent quality and a very wide range of local real ale and Cider.

There was a very long menu and I was anticipating a tasty meal. We got a microwaved lasagne and a dry pie.

Great pub and restaurant, superb meals and very attentive staff. Off the beaten track a bit, but well worth it!

Extremely professional hard working and friendly staff. We arrived without booking, with our dog and we were welcomed and accommodated on a busy Curry Night. Food and value for money excellent. Cannot recommend enough.

We rang up late in the day to book a family meal, we were welcomed and given a time to arrive. The welcome was lovely and very professional. The menu was one of the best for choices that we have been to in the last 18monrhs, plenty for picky eater to choose from as well as those with dietary requirements. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions good. Nothing was to much for the staff. Would truly recommend eating here.

This is a gem of the pub and deserves all the awards they have amassed. It has that lovely local feel to it. Plenty of ales/ciders on tap, both local and regional. The food her is unfussy, hearty and just like the best of your Gran's best home cooked food. As a veggie, I had the Stilton crumble which was amazing, full of flavour. My wife had the veggie curry which was equally divine and tasty. Puddings are Heavenly and certainly enough to share. If you think it's a little out of your way, don't it is most definitely worth a detour.

Excellent food and incredibly warm welcome from the landlord and staff. Steak cooked to perfection and certainly didn't leave hungry. Second visit in a week and both times very happy indeed. A wonderful pub and wish it was my local.

Had a lovely Sunday roast, I had a mushroom wellington as a vegetarian option which tasted fantastic! The staff are very friendly and provided top service. I'll absolutely be visiting again! Well worth the drive down the country lanes.

The Tom Cobley is the most welcoming pub, I have ever had the pleasure of spending time in....The owners are genuine friendly people, who nothing is too much trouble for...We had our dog with us and he was welcomed into the pub like part of the family. If there is one thing you do whilst in this area its Visit the Tom Cobley Tavern. The food is excellent and as the owner is a trained butcher, he knows his meat and his BEER..... 🍻😊
