The White Hart Hotel Restaurant in West Devon

Nice food, nice staff, quick service all at a good price.

Poor food and relatively high prices. We should have twigged this when we walked into a relatively empty pub while surrounding eateries were buzzing with trade.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Serves great food and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Better still, dogs are welcome throughout the hotel providing an exciting break for our furry four legged family members too. Highly recommended.

The staff couldn't have been more lovely to us during our stay. We often needed an early breakfast/ late dinner and they accommodated us without any complaint. We were also appreciative of the head chef who made us special, off the menu vegan meals so we weren't eating the same thing every night during our long stay.

Stopped for a quick pint after a day's walking. Nice courtyard and dog friendly.

Excellent lunch and very dog friendly. Food/staff/service excellent. Chatted with landlady/owner who is a very pleasant lady indeed. Establishment very clean and would honestly frequent again if passing through town.

Has a lovely Christmas lunch here today. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy. The staff were amazing as usual and the food was spot on. 4 courses for £90 plus coffee and mince pies was well worth it.

Good pub for food. Has small courtyard at back for eating in fresh air. Food served in the bar and separate restaurant as well. Lite bites and main menu, the ham eggs and chips are great, thick slices of local made ham and plenty of it. Fish and chips also very good. Will be visiting again soon.

11 of us on our holiday in Devon booked for Sunday lunch . We were given a room to ourselves and looked after so well. The meals were delicious, lots of different choices but each one superb . Portions were generous with lots of interesting vegetables served separately. Puddings delicious too . I think it was the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had ,maybe even better than my mother in laws !!!!Thanks to the team Helen in Bristol
