Waitrose in West Devon

I needed to return goods which whilst in date, were not fit for consumption. I did not have my receipt with me but there was no quibble. I was treated with the utmost respect and politeness and my goods immediately replaced.Thank you.

Easy parking. Great choice of products. There is a fish counter, meat counter and a deli counter. Great coffee shop and a great range of breads and caked.

Hadn’t got everything on the shelf’s . Very expensive. You pay for car parking but get it back if shopping in the supermarket. There is a Lidl next door .

Why is this here? Why attempt to jam in a supermarket and then make the car park small with small spaces and then charge for the parking. Shopping at this store isn’t worth the extra tax to park. Dumb location, always swamped.

A wonderful experience. As I was checking out, partner happened to comment on my shopping which was obviously a small party buy. I replied that it is my mother-in-law's 75th birthday and a family celebration, she immediately asked me to "wait there" and disappeared, only to return with a lovely pot of miniature roses as a gift for M-in-L. However embarrassing this may have been, it was a lovely gesture and I'm sure it will be appreciated and enjoyed. Full marks for customer satisfaction. I only regret having missed the partner's name.

Shopped this evening to buy ingredients for a dog friendly birthday cake and needed help to find wholemeal flour. The assistant was extremely helpful and took the time to ask us what breed of dog we had and how old he will be which was lovely, she really showed interest. We kept on shopping for other items around the store and we were choosing easter eggs when the assistant that had already helped us appeared again and gave us a bag of treats for our doggy. The lovely lady was called Mandy and she really made our evening for the really lovely and thoughtful gesture. Great customer service can be forgotten sometime but Mandy was a shinning example for great customer service. Thank you Mandy, our doggy will certainly enjoy his treats😊

Remember to get a ticket for parking 🅿 it's a trap by the council, parking warden literally sits in the car and waiting for not local cars to park when shopping in Waitrose. Ticket will be waiting for you.

Good choice of top quality products, parking fees are refunded if you shop, polite staff

I live the quality of goods in Waitrose. Fruit, veg, all top quality. I love their American Cheesecake. One of my favourites. I only buy from there when it's a good price. I don't blindly, without care, just chuck in my basket all I want. I am not rich enough for that. But there are some things here you just can't get anywhere else. So I love my visits and feel posh having a membership card. Role in the day the cafe is open again as I am missing my afternoon coffee and cake there while I read a newspaper.

It had most of the shopping I needed. Clean neat generally well stocked.For the first time ever there was no greeting from the cashier, no chat at least not with me, however with his colleague he was commending her on how rude she was to a customer. I believe I'm still in shock.
