Worth the Drive over the Moor. Lovely Inn friendly people.. Room very nice .. Breakfast Excellent.. looking forward to going again in August...also a lovely log fire ...

A nice warm environment were we stayed for 2 nights in their accommodation. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Full English breakfast was very nice. Thank you to all.

Work in progress... not quite 5 star but darn close. The entrance belies what is beyond the door.... an honest and traditional pub that is recognised as such by many. Fraser and his staff have worked their socks off over the past 2 years. Improvements had been made in many areas. The chief attraction is the menu... very few diners will be disappointed with it and few will be disappointed with the ambience. Sometimes a pub can become too popular for its own good... I don't fear that this will happen here!

Absolutely lovely food, haven't enjoyed a meal like that in a long time, the ladies who work there are also super friendly and cannot wait to go again sometime. :)

Great pub . The food was just right and the pub still has that village pub vibe . We loved it . The staff were friendly and the on tap beers were extremely moorish !! Well done all we'll definitely be returning and recommending to others .

Probably my favourite place to eat on this earth!The atmosphere is charming, all the staff are welcoming and the food is to die for!Their homemade pies are the best and their home made ice cream gives Kelly’s a run for their money!Would eat here every day if I could, but I can’t - so I’ll settle to every time I visit Dartmoor!

Beautiful little pub/hotel so quaint and quiet...the rooms, staff and the owner are lovely and made us feel really welcome and the breakfast is the best my fiancé stated and he's fairly hard to please, what a lovely little village too. Will definitely stay again and I highly recommend it.

We stayed in the pub on the way to our holiday in Cornwall after driving from Bristol and then going to Dartmoor. We a so pleased we booked this place. The room was a double en-suite and more than satisfactory with everything you needed. The stand out for this place has to be the food and the staff. I had been wanting a decent burger for a while and it was excellent yet I still had food envy of my partner who had the steak and ale pie !! Wow is simply not enough as to how amazing it was. We were then over the moon by the standard of breakfast. Wry hearty with everything you could want and more. A special thank you goes to the staff for answering all my questions on the different ciders and especially Elouise who was very patient with me and nothing was too much trouble. All in all would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay over near Dartmoor.
