A thoroughly deserved 5 stars. Fabulous food. Warm, friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend the tasting menu: sushi, sashimi, tempura prawn, smoked freeze-dried fish, chicken skewer, black cod, wagyu beef, dessert....all delicious.

Perfect Sushi - wonderful hosts!Growing up in the area I and my family had come across the wonderful couple who own this establishment at various fairs and food markets and there sushi was always top notch, offering authentic Japanese fare in an area that doesn’t really have anything similar. Having moved away from the area I was excited to learn they had oped there own restaurant and have been keen to try it for years. I was finally able to visit with a childhood friend and my father and we had a wonderful evening, Paul served us and was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The food was excellent me and my father had the 4 piece fish sushi selection, it was without doubt the best sushi I’ve ever had ( and I have eaten a lot of sushi in my time), I then had the pork ramen which was also excellent, the broth was full of flavour and all topping were first rate my father had the black cod which he thoroughly enjoyed. Paul was even able to temp to us to deserts, with me and my friend sharing a yuzu frozen cake which was refreshing and zesty, my father had a different berry based frozen cake which he also enjoyed.Overall the restaurant was relaxed, clean, warm and every dish was fresh and full of authentic flavour. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had sushi platters , not only the fish are fresh , the flavour is really ingenious despite the limited variety of fish in countryside. with fatty tuna, yellowtail, salmon, eel? and crab, the chef manage to add a kick of spicy , a smoothen avocado mayo , a refreshing cucumber lettuce favour to create layers to the different sushi. If the seaweed can retain it crispiness it would be perfect. Also definitely love the yuzu cocktail, very rarely you can find a good bitter and sour citrus drink in U.K., wish it comes with slightly bigger glass. On top customer service, sweet and polite owner of the restaurant sat us in, helped taking our coats, served the food with manner, quiet atmosphere, gave you a sense of fine diner.

Every once in a while we stumble across somewhere that is delightful and delicious and where the whole experience is a joy. This is one such place. The Black Cod is exquisite (puts a number of Michelin starred plates to shame), the Tonkatsu Ramen is both rich and fresh and will ensure you never eat ramen from a bad chain restaurant ever again. The sushi is lovingly made with first class ingredients. (And don’t order the seaweed salad unless you want to gasp in delight at a whole new flavour palette). Oh, and there is so much more to saké than you think. Not cheap. That’s not the point. Excellent food, attentive informed service is.

No exaggeration, Myra's is where I ate the best meal of my life. The food was outrageously delicious and all the ingredients were so fresh. They offered an impressive variety of Japanese cuisine and drinks, including a taster menu and chef's signature dishes. The portions were bigger than I expected but I was glad of that once I realised how good everything was! I wholeheartedly recommend the "half and half" starter platter. The restaurant itself had a lovely, warm ambience, with a beautiful balance between modern and traditional Japanese decor. The music played throughout the evening was pleasant and uplifting. The server was a wonderfully kind gentleman who made us feel welcome and showed a great level of knowledge about the menu; he was more than happy to answer our questions. He also mixes a cracking cocktail, and I'd recommend the "Yuzu Collins" if you like sour lemon flavoured things! At the end of our meal we were offered complimentary hot drinks. I had their green tea and it was by far the tastiest I have ever had. It was a perfect way to round off an already spectacular dining experience.Thank you so much to the staff of Myra's for helping to make my birthday this year the best I've ever had. I hope I'll be back someday :)

Our evening at Myra's was simply superb. The hosting was first rate, the details of the food and helpful pairing advice were welcome and timely. The service throughout was equally valued and of high quality adding to a lovely evening not distracting. The food and drink were frankly wonderful. There are absolutely no complaints to be made or even grey areas.I cannot recommend Myra's highly enough it even if you have never had Japanese cuisine before you have to try Myra's.Well done indeed

My partner and I had the Kaiseki tasting menu comprised of 9 different dishes and it was out of this world! every dish on the menu was delicious and worth every penny. Lovely service and atmosphere, great food all round. I would 100% recommend!

Visited for a birthday, delicious food (we recommend the duck or salmon main, see photos). Pricey, but if you can shallow it, definitely worth the experience. Lovely server who gave the good lady a rose for her birthday as we left. I best watch out!

Visited here on Friday and we were offered the choice of sitting inside or on the terrace, we chose the latter but it was just two tables at the back, we had to squeeze past a parked car and were sat next to the open kitchen window, could hear the chef yelling at waiting staff for most of the meal, the server was very polite and informative but a little slow, took so long to return with dipping sauce that we had finished our food and we we're not offered napkins at any point, had to take paper towels from the ladies toilet which didn't have a locking door. The food was nice however very over priced for what it is, also we had the owners cat sat at the table which as an animal lover I enjoyed however he then entered the kitchen which was quite off-putting, as much as I love cats, they don't belong in a restaurant kitchen!
