2 weeks ago we had what was supposed to have been my friend 90th Birthday Celebrations with a cream tea turned out to be a catalogue of errors starting from when we arrived at 15hrs the preordained food was delivered but incomplete something that couldn't be put right as the chef had gone home? The missing order was a Teir Tea and a Cream Tea? We did not get offered a drink from the bar?there appeared to be staff shortages? I was charged for food that we didn't get? And on my card without me being present? The whole event took 1hr 30min I wouldn't call that time to celebrate the group of 14 left feeling a very rushed and a encumbrance from arriving to leaving

Wonderful old hotel with great seevice and fab gardens with views out to sea. Just simply classy in all aspects. I would highly recommend.

Lovely room overlooking the gardens and the sea Great location for centre of village and beach

Afternoon tea was very good and almost too much food. Everything was delicious and extra cream/ jam was available for the scones. Tea and coffee refilled when asked.Stunning setting looking over the lawns and out to sea. Swing seat in the garden to help it all go down. The reason for only 4 stars was that there was no parking on site, and we weren't offered any different types of tea/ coffee, yet other people were when they arrived, so quite varied service from the staff.

Called in on the off chance for a drink. What a wonderful find. A group of 8 were welcomed by the most friendly staff. A beautiful hotel with fantastic views. Cant wait to book and return

We booked this hotel on account it has it's own car parking. We really loved our stay. The little details such as the handwritten welcome note, the impeccably clean room and bathroom, and the friendly nature of the staff has simply convinced us to book again......See you soon!

A truly beautiful hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable and we had a stunning view of the cobb from room 26. The food as ever was delicious. Would highly recommend

Our friends took us for lunch to thank us for staying at ours. Two stars are for the view and a lovely company, the rest was below average, I am afraid. The menu on the website does not match the menu offered on arrival. Although we were early, a couple of dishes were not available. Our chicken main dish was dry, a side dish cold. So disappointing - we should have just had a drink and enjoy the view.

Stayed in room 47 which is on the ground floor overlooking the entrance path to Langmoor Gardens. The room was very basic and dated. The window did not close and we were woken every night by revellers returning from beach parties and then again at 6:45 by the Gardner using power tools. Reported the window issue after the first night but nothing was done and we were unable to move rooms as the hotel was full. The hotel has amazing views from the garden and restaurant but the management should not expect this to make up for poor experience and basic rooms.

Lovely lunch, superb views. The champagne we ordered wasn’t in stock we were told after we’d ordered, and we eventually got another bottle half way through our starters, but it didn’t spoil our visit. Nice to sit on comfy chairs outside with such a view. The lovely gentleman that served us and cleared our plates was not intrusive, but very pleasant. Thank you, we will return.x
