Bella's in West Dorset

Great salad but a bit stingy on the Frittata, tiny piece which cost £4.50. But I did enjoy the mixed salad.

We found Bellas as we stayed locally and searched Google for a sandwich shop so gave it a try today after seeing a lot of positive reviews, however, it is difficult to believe them unless we visited on an 'off day'.As a dedicated sandwich shop you surely should have quality bread, but this isn't the case as what you seem to get is a supermarket part baked baguette.We then had the smallest amount of pre-grated (Dorset!) cheddar cheese, some salad and chutney for £5.95!!In fairness the chutney saved the rating from being lower as what filling there was, was tasty, but at the price charged I would expect to taste (and see) the main filling.

We went to Bella's as the cakes in the window looked so nice and we were not disappointed. The baguettes were superb the coffee was good and the cakes were light moist and healthy portioned. All things served were generous without being over the top. Great flavours quality and efficient friendly service. Top marks for a lush lunch!

I had a freshly made baguette with emmenthal and salami, salad and mustard mayo. Delicious breakfast eaten on the bench outside while watching the town get going for the day. Coffee was good too, and really great service

The menu looked delicious. But my son was disappointed with his 'cheese salad sandwich' that was actually just cheese and dry bread and nothing else - he threw it away after two bites. The baguettes were OK - but quite dry and overly crunchy baguette bread. Apple cake was nice but Victoria sponge dry and grainy. Overall, we won't go there again as it cost us £35 and it wasn't nice enough for that kind of money.

Went here today and saw the Vegan rainbow wrap on the menu, so thought give it a go. This is Beetroot falafel, hummus, carrot 🥕, rocket and sweet chilli sauce in a beetroot wrap.So we sat down in the sun to try this and it came in a Lovely box. The taste was amazing we couldn't believe how tasty it was. Best thing we have eaten out this week.It was that good we went to get two more!Well worth it! Thank you to the two staff. Very clean. Highly recommended!

Frittata and three salads, topped with rocket and toasted seeds, made the perfect picnic lunch. Bursting with flavour and goodness, it was a lovely way to get some of my five a day. If you're tired of soggy prepacked sandwiches and want something tastier than chips the this is the place to goNot around at lunch time? Then their excellent cakes and coffee are always a good option.

Thank you to Bella's for a wonderful fresh nutritious take away lunch for both me and my little dog. We had walked from West Bay to Golden Cap and then to Bridport and were in need of good food. We were not disappointed - thank you so much. Stay safe in these crazy times xx

My favourite place for cake. They’re delicious, always fresh, and there’s a lot to choose from.They also do gluten free options incredibly well. I’m coeliac and have never had so many options. So far I’ve tried the brownies, millionaire’s shortbread and coffee and walnut cake (the best so far). Highly recommended!
