Absolutely delightful dinner tonight. Pictured is the roasted peppers and tomato. Staff beyond lovely and so sweet with our two little ones. Food so tasty, fresh, and well designed. Only knocked 1* off as I do think it is a little pricey (£18 for a small veg main - I had to supplement with sides and bits off the kids' plates) but they are working on reduced staff and menu and frankly it was amazingly delicious and would definitely visit again. Big shout out to the lovely front of house.

This is a very pleasantly appointed restaurant providing the English equivalent of french country cooking and doing it well. Reduced menu coming out of Covid, but very nicely priced and a great place to come for lunch or an evening meal.

Nice environment and good quick service, but quite pricey for nice food, but nothing special. Just under £100 for two for fishcakes and desert with wine leaves me feeling a bit overcharged tbh. On reflection, perhaps 3 stars was a little harsh. Absolutely nothing wrong with the meal or experience, but still feel pricing was high.No I'm not in the trade, but can still understand the pain of a very difficult 12 months. It's an opinion and we are all entitled to have those. Good luck to you.

Beautiful interiors and lovely location but food was underwhelming for the amount we spent. Portion sizes were small. The steak was very good but the vegetarian options were poor. Disappointed as I have read much about this restaurant and travelled some way to get there. Service wasn't brilliant - my waiter made mistakes on starters and no apology from the team. There are far superior restaurants charging these prices.

Fantastic food, sensible portion sizes, very tasty and perfectly cooked. Friendly and helpful front of house. Small menu but good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. We were very happy and will return.

Met up with two old friends for lunch at Brassica on a gloomy November afternoon. What an inviting place to be! We had a delicious lunch and then wandered around the many independent shops in Beaminster. A perfect afternoon! We will be back.

Food were presented beautifully and they were delicious. Our drive of 4 hours was worthwhile just to dine here for lunch with friends. I was impressed with smart, lovely and efficient staff today. We had a lovely time celebrating friend's birthday. I recommend this place when you're in this area.

Excellent little restaurant with food that is so much better than its situation would suggest. The menu changes daily so I'm not sure that describing the dishes is worthwhile, but suffice to say that all the six dishes our party ordered were excellent with the hake and the veal starter being absolute standouts. The wine list seemed well chosen, with several wines available also by the carafe. The decor of the room was outstanding. It's a bright airy space with splashes of colour. It works well at lunchtime but is also, I should imagine, cosy in the evening. The lunchtime menu is very reasonably priced - can't speak for dinner.
