Absolutely outstanding, traveled over an hour to revisit this restaurant and it blew us away again. Incredible food, great atmosphere & perfectly located. Can reccomended highly enough!

On holiday and asked around West Bay for the best restaurant for our last night. This was the top recommended and the locals were so right. This was the funkiest and most wonderful place. The old train carriages were so ornately and madley decorated. The staff were so friendly and most importantly, the food was sensational. It was such a lovely menu and the food really was top and presented so well. The chef even came out to give our boy his pudding in person. She was so friendly and gave him his slightly off menu pudding that he really wanted with a little added treat.I've been lucky to have eaten in a couple of Michelin star restaurants and the food here was as good if not better. If you read these Michelin, pay them a visit. If we ever go back to West Bay we will definitely come again. We have been telling everyone about it.

What a unique experience! The decor is full maximalist! The service was friendly and helpful. The food was the main pull - cooked to perfection and tasted divine! A great spot for a special birthday.

·

Fabulous decor, friendly staff food was OK but small portions (we both had 3) we needed a snack not long after. And look out for the 12% service charge, its quick expensive for what it is.

Visited for a special family birthday. Unique setting with great decor, fantastic food and service. Would visit again for an occasion and would give 6 stars if possible.

Booked here for a birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. The theme and decor are gorgeous, perfect details and impressive service. Catered fantastically for veganism with great alternatives. Fabulous cocktail menu. Will definitely be back when we visit Dorset again.

This restaurant is just amazing!!! The decor, the atmosphere, the staff and especially the food are fantastic. Visited twice over the new year and each time we were very impressed. So much that we have booked again for August, cannot wait

What an absolute gem of a place this is!I have enviously watched many friends visit the station kitchen over the past few years, and finally managed to get rid of the kids for a night and take the wife out for a birthday treat. We loved it, really relaxed feel, and first class food...couldn't have been better! We will be back!

Wonderful meal at The Station Kitchen last Friday. We were met with a big friendly smile. The menu is fab - I went for the mushroom burger which was absolutely amazing with all the 'off the rails' accompaniments. The hand cut chips are fabulous. It was interesting to learn from our waitress the history of the beautiful carriage in which we dined. The decor is delightful both in the carriage and Station house. I look forward to returning soon.

A very very quirky and lovely dinner out. The train station and carriage restaurant has so many interesting objects packed in to it that you will spend the whole of your meal spotting new things (a few of my favourites attached). The menu is very much aimed at the fish lover but was excellent in range. The Dover sole is especially tasty. Having never had skate wing before that was a nice new dish to try and it did not disappoint. The duck to start was a nice variation on a classic dish and worked well. The wine menu is equally well thought out and the Chablis we had went well with our dishes. The menu is expensive but I would suggest it's worthy of it's price tag. They even have a kids menu (which according to our kids the burgers were very good).Lastly make sure you book as they seem to be fully booked out for a fair few days at a time.If in West Bay and a fish lover this is not to be missed.
