Crown Inn in West Dorset

Our daughter has severe dairy allergy so visited the pub before booking. They truly could not be more helpful. We had a lovely evening. Really good food, great service by such nice staff. Haven't been here for a number of years. If you enjoy good pub food, well presented, very tasty in a lovely atmosphere then if you are in the area, give it a try. Don't think you'll be disappointed! We'll be back!

We enjoyed a lovely meal this evening at The Crown. Good sized portions - well cooked. Very friendly and polite staff. Lovely garden area and dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here. Great portion sizes and everything cooked and tasted well. Super fresh Yorkshire pudding.Warmly welcomed by the staff - I guess landlady - and great service throughout.

Really good pub, obviously a local hub. Pleasant staff and beautiful gardens with views.When we went, the food was a disappointment as nothing appeared home prepared as opposed to frozen.

Stopped off on a walk. Friendly service, good food and nice beer. Would recommend and hope to visit again sometime.

We stopped of here with a very muddy dog and muddy boots. We had a warm welcome, food was good, and lots of it. The lady serving us was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

The Crown is hosted by Jane and Ian, the beer is well looked after and the bar staff are very friendly. The pub is a "pub" rugby orientated and is a regular music venue for quality local bands, worthy of many visits

Lovely atmosphere nice to find dog friendly pub. Food was good although I had a meat pie lacking meat. Full of delicious gravy and discounted from bill so cannot fault customer service either.

Lovely pub. Very peaceful, pleasant garden area out the back, secluded from the road with pretty, long views over the fence. Food was good with vegan option and they kindly russled up a soya hot chocolate for a lactose-intolerant individual. They were doing lunches and suppers in September 2021. Walkable from the Litton Lakes campsite.
