"Taste Café at Dorset Museum is a vibrant all day café in the beautiful surroundings of The Dorset Museum (free entry to café). We offer a full menu, breakfast, coffee, tea, wine and local beers & cider, smoothies & milkshakes also a big selection of our own homemade cakes. A lunch menu and blackboard specials are available daily. Afternoon teas, Prosecco afternoon teas & Dorset cream teas! We produce everything ourselves, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients where possible and our bread comes from the Evershot bakery."

I come here quite often I must say and I’m never disappointed, The food here is lovely, always cooked really well and never had any problems. The staff and service are always great! Particularly Ollie, real top bloke who always manages to make time to have a good conversation with me and I notice with all customers too. I’d definitely recommend especially when it’s sunny as despite being inside the big windows create a real nice sunspot so definitely worth trying to nab one of those tables. Thank you guys, I will definitely keep returning!! :)

Have been to this cafe a few times and always been happy with our visit. There’s lovely food to choose from but most of all the staff are delightful. They’re friendly, cheerful and helpful. We’ve taken our family there when they’re visiting from afar and they’ve been impressed too. Last time we were there the zip on my coat had broken and neither my husband nor myself could get it undone. The lovely waitress volunteered to try it and when she couldn’t do it went and got a fork and succeeded it getting it undone! Excellent service with a smile 😊
