The Dorshi gets very good reviews which sadly I feel are unjustified. The service is slow and uncaring. The food is mediocre at best. The dumplings are simply sausage meat with the one exception being a fish dumpling, which was quite nice. The other dishes, scallops, pork belly or chicken just really aren't worth bothering with. The rice was simply coconut rice. Overall a disappointment

Can’t quite put into words how I feel about this place. It just has the most unique vibe. I usually live in London and have been lucky enough to taste some fabulous stuff, and yet Dorshi in little old Bridport where I grew up is still one of my favourite places to eat.

Super tasty food- everything we had was vegan and beautiful! Staff were kind, friendly and the whole experience was great. Fancy soap in the bathroom, too ;-)

10/10. I took my mum as a surprise for her birthday and we had the most brilliant time. The food was sensational, every dish was packed full of flavour. We had the meat and fish dumplings, fennel, udon noodles and drunken chicken and the lime truffle to finish. So thrilled to have such an incredible restaurant so locally. The service from the team was so warm and friendly thanks to Jolly and Summer! We will be back again and again!

Flawless. Couldn’t fault a single thing. Service was so friendly, relaxed and efficient. Food was outstanding. Decor and vibe was quaint and unique and transported you somewhere else for an hour or two! Can’t wait to come back!

Very good, quaint food. Interesting tapas like experience. Not that accessible to people who have no experience/knowledge with this type of food - the menu gives no suggestions as to the size of items, how many to get, what complement each other. Relatively expensive, but food quite nice to match.

No word of a lie, my partner and I both agreed this was some of the best food we’d ever had. They cater to a vegetarian and vegan diet beautifully. If visiting Bridport, this place is a must visit! We had the 8pcs mixed vegetable vegetarian dumplings, jasmine, ginger and sesame rice with the cauliflower popcorn. Amazing value for the truly incredible quality of food. The staff are also friendly, attentive and gave informative and helpful recommendations when asked. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and inviting. We only wish there was one in London!

Amazing food and really nice staff.Don’t let the alleyway put you off it is a little creepy but when you get there the door opens and you walk in the the most amazing little dinner.Very clever and non intrusive sectioning off for covid which is nice.Would defo go again the food was amazing. Deffo try the 18 dumpling plate 2 each and then the popcorn cauliflower.

Staff was rude, female with the super short hair needs to attend customer service classes.Told her we drove from London, she was like wasn't there any other restaurants in London... Then she told us the chicken was out of stock and told us we made a pointless journey. We got there after two hours opening. I only booked this establishment because of good reviews, seriously do not bother. The rice was under cooked, the tofu was ok.The cocktails was watered down by mixers.Definitely a spot to avoid. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The dumplings were delicious, especially enjoyed the fried chicken ones. I really like the fact they use organic meat and ingredients, you can definitely tell. I had the spicy pork noodles and it was delicious! Paired with a good red wine this meal was absolutely fantastic. The condensed milk ice cream dessert was also very good. Highly recommended.
