Beautiful place, great food. Couldn't give it a 5 star owing to the vast number of dogs allowed in and the insanity of a pot holed single track road leading to it. Book in advance.

Very nice little cafe we have been here a couple of times and will be returning. It can be a life saver after a long walk over the hills. Food is lovely and big portions. Prices are a little on the expensive side but the portion size makes up for it. The staff are plesent and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely, lovely little cafe, we were lucky to get a seat though, so worth calling ahead if like us you've just done a two mile walk to get there! Food was superb, garlic mushrooms were the best ever had 😊 and cream tea was easily enough for two. Lovely staff too in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend. 😊

Fabulous scones & cakes. Lovely friendly staff. Certainly a tricky narrow route for a small part of our journey, but totally worth it !

Lovely cafe, wasn't signed posted and we nearly turned around but glad we didn't. Lovely staff, venue and atmosphere. Food was lovely and fairly priced.

Downhouse farm cafe is a lovely place to stop for lunch. I can thoroughly recommend the crab bap, it was fresh, tasty and the portion was huge. The summer crumble was extremely tasty. The service was friendly and welcoming, we will definitely visit again if we are passing.

We arrived without a reservation (not thinking we'd need one mid week). The staff were very well organised and made sure to make space for us amongst those with reservations. The scones were warm and delicious! The table had just the right amount of sun and shade and was very inviting! It's one of our favourite stops during coastal walks and we'll definitely be back again!

Wonderful place to rest your legs from the Jurassic coastal path walk and have a delicious cream tea and homemade cake - advisable to book ahead as can get busy on good weather days

Alfresco cafe, really lovely food in a farmyard enclosed garden setting. Nice menu choice. Reasonably priced. Excellent friendly staff. Good Gluten Free options and GF Bread. Venue just off the SW Coastal Path and well worth it for a stop.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely meal here on a chilly winters day.We ordered the spicy lentil special with granary bread. The lentils were delicious and the bread was soft and fresh. We also has a scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream. All ingredients used were extremely fresh and high quality, you can definitely tell it's locally sourced.Highly recommended at any time of the year!
