Ducks Farm Shop & Cafe in West Dorset

Very nice place. We had breakfast there. Then got some fresh things from farm shop. Would highly recommend

Popped in on our way through the village, looked lovely but sadly the young lady working behind the till looked like customers were bothering her. The tables were sticky, high chair filthy, the pork pie Rock hard and inedible. A shame as the shop was lovely and well stocked.

Saw them at Wells Saturday market, give them a go, glad we did. Steak and Guinness pies, lovely pie, good crust, pastry. Generous filling, gravy, well seasoned, no gristle or jelly.Came back today bought 4 of them plus some game pies and lamb and rosemary sausage rolls, pies around 3.75 each, it's a good buy, good filling food. I've cooked game pie before, but to buy rabbit, venison and pigeon and make the pie, couldn't do it for this price. So recap, damn good pies, value for money.

Came across this place en route to Abbotsbury. Had a lovely savoury pork pie with nice jelly inside. Also the warmed butternut & goats cheese flan was reportedly delicious.

Can't recommend this cafe and shop enough! We had three breakfasts here. All were AMAZING! Full English breakfast was delicious with sour dough bread and locally sourced bacon, sausage and egg. All staff absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful.The shop a cornucopia of delicious food items and Dorset specialities. Also, sells daily papers! Wonderful!Thank you for making our stay so great!!

Lovely cafe, pretty cheap for a farm shop cafe but was really nice. Staff were also friendly. The farmshop is also nicely stocked, with a bring your own container section which is nice to see.

We ordered 2 breakfasts, jacket potato and a Welsh rarebit. All good apart from my husband said the sausages weren't the same quality as they used to be. Also the 2 scones we had were dry but the custard slice was delicious. Very good cappuccino.

Stopped here for lunch - delicious food, great quality and lovely service from the friendly staff. The shop has a huge range, not inexpensive but all highest quality. Would go back for sure.

We stopped by and had lunch. The Dorset rarebit was tasty but the portion is quite small. As a farm shop we were surprised at how little fresh produce was there but they did have a variety of condiments, drinks etc.

An amazing range of exotic & eco-friendly produce, much of it locally sourced, and mixed with practical items that camping and self-catering holidaymakers need. It is really worth a browse, you won't come away empty handed!
