Ecco Gelato in West Dorset

Went there on the 28th May, staff don't seem too interested and only 1 wanted to serve, we ordered 3 waffles to eat in and had to wait ages, whilst the machine wasn't working properly each one arrived separately which was a shame as you were eating alone and once the final one arrived we didnt feel like eating it then, have to say that Emma T who was the only one to keep us updated was great and a credit to the company, maybe an adult should be overseeing the shop and the staff / training and not just leave it up to a couple of teenagers with no customer service skills. the only plus the food was good, the milkshakes were great

The watermelon ice-cream was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. Sadly there was no mint chocolate chip flavor

Amazing ice cream amongst other goodies, hot and cold and a large seating area.

Lovely gelato, all the flavours we tried were great and there were lots more we wanted to taste too. We sat inside and could see the folks making the gelato which we liked. Will return

There is a good selection of ice creams on offer including some which are suitable for diabetics.However I visited on Saturday afternoon (11.12.21) and a very miserable and unhelpful young lady who would clearly rather have continued to play around with her mobile phone than bother to serve customers attempted to serve me.She was clearly lacking in knowledge about what she was presumably supposed to be employed to do and luckily was ably helped out by a young lad who saved the day !!Perhaps some of the staff would benefit from a customer service training course plus better knowledge about the products they are dealing with ?

Found this company via a vegan fayre they were at. The shop is very nice, it is big and has lots to pick from. They have a wide selection of gelatos with vegan and diabetic gelatos to pick from. I had the black forest vegan waffle it was fantastic. Lovely place. Feels like it should be in a city centre like Bristol or bath but it's in a quaint little village which looks like it would be lovely to visit.
