Eypes Mouth Country Hotel in West Dorset

We ended up here,as we had booked an air bnb in dorset that had a power cut ,we landed on the doorstep of this hotel at 10am,they gave us a room straight away ,so we could have a bath and get warm,the hotel itself is quite dated,but the cleanest hotel I've ever been in,the food is amazing and I mean,so so good ,really fresh,and the staff are so friendly,there's a young girl practically running front of house,who is just lovely,glynis who owns it ,was so nice to us ,it helped us out of a bad situation,we were so grateful to be warm....they welcomed our dog too .....thankyou team

Very friendly staff could not do enough for you. Food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel in a wonderful spot and close to the costal path walk. Great for a relaxing retreat.

Lovely quiet, comfortable hotel. Situated at the end of a quiet lane but right on the sw coastal path. Great breakfasts and nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff.

Just back from a couple of nights stay. Everything was Fantastic right throughout our stay. A Lovely warm welcome. All covid-19 precautions explained fully on checking in. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner both outstanding and the views across Lyme Bay from the restaurant were Beautiful. The beach is only 5 minutes walk away from the Hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Most Definitely a Hidden Little Gem. Would highly recommend. We wil definitely be returning.Well Done to all the staff for making us feel welcome ans safe.

Lovely little break in Eype. Right near the stunning beach and some great walks. Hotel team were lovely. Breakfast was perfect. And peaceful and quiet, what more could you want.

Booked last minute. Hotel not busy, but I don't understand why. Restaurant not open, but beautifully cooked meals served in the bar. Stayed in a superior double room with double aspect and sea views. Excellent and friendly service from staff at checkin and at the bar. Definitely planning to return as we often need to stay in the Bridport area.

We decided to take a mystery tour down a little lane while out for the day. I'm glad we did and found this lovely tranquil hotel for a drink. Very peaceful. Attentive and super friendly staff who welcomed us even though we were not staying. Lovely view of the sea. A bit out of the way down a narrow lane but expected to find these little gems in Dorset.. A perfect bolt hole to relax I'm sure.

Had a delicious meal in the unassuming Smugglers Bar at this hotel tonight. Everything was freshly cooked (fabulous onion rings), portions were generous and no long wait. Really enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Gorgeous place, quiet with views of sea. Placed at the head of the valley, looks down over to the sea, with fields on either side. Terraces for drinking and food, large dining room. A short walk down to the beach, 1 mile from West bay, about a mile to Bridport, close to Seatown and Chideock. The rooms are well kept, the whole place is clean and tidy, with a big car park. The staff are friendly and only too willing to help.

Went for dinner as a non resident. This place is superb. Had best meal and service was excellent. The waiter & waitress had first class service. Not once did they lean or reach across us. Food was amazing and only £28 for 3 courses.The quality of food was best I've had in a long time in any restaurant . I would drive 3 hours from my home to eat here!!
