love this shop but get agitated every time i step inside being followed around by member of staff asking if i am ok and what am i looking for.? staff are very polite but please just let me browse in peace.

Very pleasant venue for local artists' work - also high quality cards and collectibles. There used to be a good cafe, but this is now closed, replaced with more shop floor area.

Very expensive and some things are totally overpriced. The shop has not a very big selection of items, some nice smaller things and some nice soap or handcreams and eau de toilets but again, very pricey.

Really attentive staff, so helpful and knowledgeable, not pushy at all. I bought some Margaret Johnson glass in the gallery, fantastically wrapped for travelling, thrilled with my purchases. Thank you.

Tasteful and elegant selection of interior decor pieces with paintings, prints and smaller bronzes & statuary...some by local artists. Lots of ornaments and finishing touches for the home, silk flowers, glass, china & pottery pieces, & mirrors. Dress jewellery, handbags and scarves. A nice selection of ladies smart casual clothes. Gift card type stationary etc. Some expensive pieces but some better value pieces to balance this. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

I have eaten here several times and each time has been the same high quality food and great service. Parking is free so it is a good meeting place for those travelling by car instead of struggling to park their car in Dorchester! Tea cake and art what more can I ask for? Brought a lovely picture by Kate Wyatt here but there are lots of less expensive original bits and bobs to temp you. I will definitely be back - Highly recommended.
