The plants and gardening requisites are expensive but there is a very good range to choose from. The restaurant was a disappointment. The eating area was untidy, with pools of water on surfaces, due to a leaky roof. The staff were very unmotivated with poor customer service skills. The menu was very poor, presumably because there were too few staff in the kitchen and there appeared to be little leadership. The queue to order food was very slow and the waiting period before you received your order was atleast 20+ minutes. Hopefully this was an unfortunate blip but I somehow doubt it.

Not a good experience. Arrived at 9am for a breakfast and the restaurant heating was running on max to heat the whole place. The problem is the heat was too much while sat eating and drinking and our dog was also suffering. The heat was so high even the table tops were almost to hot to touch. After asking politely for the heating to be turned down this was politely refused informing us that the heating is thermostatically controlled.I think the thermostat was outside while we were subjected to temperatures of over 35c or more.

Super Mothers Day cream tea, whilst the GC played in the soft area. Managed to escape the garden area with an surprisingly low spend 😄 Forgot to mention the garden side, bought a massive white daisy, in a pot, in full bloom, beautiful !

Good amount of parking. Large selection of fruit trees and plants. Nice potted plants indoor and out. The restaurant was excellent. We had the roast and a bacon/brie pannini. The staff were short staffed but were amazing and cheerful. Dogs are allowed in the outside eating area but you need to go through the restaurant to access. Highly recommend.

Went about 11.15am on a Sunday. There were quite a few tables free and the queue was to the end of the counter, which thought wasn't too bad, however the queue never seemed to go down, 20 minutes wait for 2 coffees. Most people in front of me where having coffee and cakes. One girl serving most of the time and then another popped out to help from time to time. A dog who was with its family did 'something on the floor', not sure what it was as they were a few people behind me, but the owner cleaned it up, but then started to handle the menus and did not wash their hands 😬. Dogs should be outside to avoid this happening. Won't be heading back in a hurry.

Its got most of the basics and a decent gift section. The cafe was ok but the system for ordering is desperately slow. You queue up for your hot drinks and to order and it took 25mins. Happily the food arrived much quicker!

Lots to look at and buy, theres agreat variety of plants, shrubs and seeds. Lots of gardening tools and general equipment. Not so impressed with cafè,very long wait for order, scones were large and tasted good.I think the sauces should not be left on the tables especially when the over head heating is on,concerned about the mayo bottle feeling quite warm.

Have always enjoyed the cafe but yesterday we waited three quarters of an hour for a cup of tea and a coffee . Our bacon roll came after half an hour the roll was cheap and nasty the bacon cold The tables were not wiped down between customers What is going on !
