Grange at Oborne in West Dorset

We just had our wedding on 18th June, Jenny and her staff were amazing, we couldn't have asked for anymore it was FABULOUS. Several guests stated the the food WAS THE BEST they have ever had at a wedding. The rooms are fantastic, everything we could have wished for. Attended for a wedding. Beautiful rooms, modern but vintage with quirky touches - decor has really been thought about. The food, is beautifully prepared, presented and is very flavoursome. Staff friendly, approachable, professional and bend over backwards to make sure everything is ok. Highly recommend, treat yourself to a nice meal or drink, or a weekend away.

Just got back from a holiday in Dorset. First 4 nights we stayed at the Grange. What an amazing traditional English hotel. The accommodation food and customer service was five star.All the staff were very efficient and friendly particularly Holly who made us so welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Can't wait until our next visit. One of the best hotels we have visited in the UK.Thank you.

Just the loveliest restaurant. Effortlessly fantastic service, with delicious food. You feel so well looked after and the menu is very nicely put together. I particularly enjoyed my pudding and the local apple cider brandy. An absolute institution!

Valentine's Break 5 Day Trip. Booked a standard room but upgraded to super deluxe for an extra fee which I nominated.Lovely Accommodation room had a balcony to set out on. Sadly weather put paid to that.Would be fabulous when the summer arrives.Very Friendly Staff. Very Attentive. Breakfast was included in the deal we booked.Lovely hotel decor and lots of different features throughout.General Manager was very helpful helping us find attractions to visit in and around the local area. Also had a recommendation from their egg supplier to The Tank Museum in Bovington which was well worth a visit.Will Visit Again. Highly Recommended.

We stayed for two nights.The hotel is lovely throughout, the service impeccable.Massive room,clean,warm and cozy.

We spent a short break here and what a lovely place. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Had a quiet room which had a great shower, comfy bed. Very good quality breakfast and dinner.Loved all the decor, a mix of old and quirky. Very well thought out and delivered. Very nice touch to have a small table Christmas tree in our room ,and a decoration on the door.Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Lovely night away, friendly and professional staff. Lots of thought in the hallway decorations and unique room layouts make for a very comfortable stay.Well maintained and clean with ample communal spaces to have a drink or play some boardgames with others while overlooking the lovely well established gardens.Quality of food at dinner was exceptional as was the selection available for breakfast.Would stay again and happy to recommend to anyone interested in staying in the area!

We had our wedding and wedding breakfast here on the 1st October it was the best day of our lives. The rooms were amazing and the food and staff were outstanding but it wasn’t either that made our day so memorable that reason was down to Jenny and John, two of the most friendly professional and attentive people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble from the months leading up to and the actual day. There are a lot of stunning places to stay over night, enjoy an evening meal or have a family party but only the grange have two hosts that make you feel part of their family. Book a visit today, you will not be disappointed.
