Hive Beach Cafe in West Dorset

Relaxed restaurant in a beautiful sea setting. The food is gorgeously presented and was very tasty. I tried the turbot which was nicely cooked, the highlight being the crayfish and cockle sauce. My only minor criticism is that for the price I would have liked a bit more fish. Recommended!

Great place to eat right by the sea front. Quick friendly service despite being very busy. Food spot on with good sized servings. Look forward to visiting again.

A perfect resto with a perfect food at seaside. The food is unbelievably delicious 🤤 and the staff are friendly. The place is the best to stop by. 😊

What a wonderful little beach café!! Came here yesterday and sampled the savoury cream tea while my wife had the ordinary cream tea.Really super! Loved the cream cheese and onion relish! The scones were really cheesy.Stayed so long that we also had the Dorset apple cake, too... !!The staff are absolutely lovely.Today, back for breakfast !!Super!Thank you... x

Great food… well done.. in a lovely setting at a very reasonable price… if the sun is shining you would be hard pushed to find a lovelier setting.. warm sea air as you enjoy a meal… staff are delightful… been here about 10/12 times… so maybe a bit bias.. but its merited for a reason.. crayfish sandwiches were a crowning glory for me…

Just a spontaneous takeaway this time around as it was very busy with a lengthy queue for seated lunch. Takeaway fish and chips excellent, not cheap but lovely quality fish with tartar sauce. Good ‘number system’ very prompt. Worth noting NT CAR 🚙 PARK. free to NT members.

Excellent food.. good sized portions and excellent quality fish. Lovely friendly staff and a beautiful location... if you are anywhere Jurassic Coast, you got to pay this place a visit.
