Great fish and chips, battered sausages are excellent too! Although I must admit the owner, Shirley, is the real gem here! She's the most friendly and lovely person ever!! Never fails to recognise a customer's face and always goes way over the top to brighten their day! She has no filter but has been nothing but kind to us!! Truly the most iconic establishment in Beaminster

After a long journey we had Fish/Chips/Peas last night! The quality of the food is not good. Small fish soggy batter, undercooked chips and the peas were terrible - swimming in water! The person serving is aggressive in manner and very impatient. Give it a miss!!

The Kingfisher chippy and takeaway is a short walk from Beaminster town square. Remember to arrive early to avoid disappointment because their high quality fish stock can run out. Plenty of parking is available nearby.
